Greetings, all! I feel like this topic must have been addressed here before, but my search didn't turn up anything helpful, so here goes. My apologies if this has already been discussed ad nauseum.

I'm wondering if the PG/VG ratio of a juice has any effect on how fast that juice burns. Specifically, would a thinner mixture such as 50/50 burn faster than a bit thicker, 25/75 mixture?

The reason I ask is, the very first time I filled up my tank, the juice I used was 25/75. (I think it was, anyway. The juice wasn't purchased by me, and it didn't say on the bottle, I'm just judging by how thick it was.) I puffed on that tank an awful lot, and it lasted me nearly 3 days. Since then, I have tried many other juices, all at 50/50 ratio. I have burned through these 50/50 juices at a much faster rate. A full tank now lasts me maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of a day.

Now, I know that this could be attributed to a lot of things, including just increased vaping and deeper puffs, but I don't think that's the reason, because I noticed this huge increase in liquid being vaped as soon as I switched to the 50/50 liquid, which was only 3 days after I first started vaping. The change was immediate, as soon as I started vaping the tank that had been filled with 50/50.

There is one other thing that changed between these two tanks that could be the reason, which is the coil resistance. On that first tank, I was using a 2.2 oHm coil. After that, I began using a 1.8 oHm. I have a hard time believing this is it though, it doesn't seem like such a small change would result in such a huge increase.

Any thoughts? Does 50/50 juice really burn that much faster than 25/75? Or is it due to something else?

I know some juice burns faster then others but I cant pinpoint the reason
I thought as you said VG may burn slower because it was thicker
Until I had I high PG blend so this it would flood my T3 every time I tried to get it going each day
the worst thing was I didn't care for the juice at first (although did get better as time past) and had wanted to get through the juice
so that I could get another Flav in the clearo
Man It was never ending it was the longest lasting 15 ml I have ever vaped

Mike Sheda, thanks, that does make sense. I did notice that I started vaping more often and deeper with the 50/50, though I couldn't really figure out why, so thanks for clearing that up. I think I'll try another 25/75 blend, just to see if it goes a little slower again. Special thanks for sharing a picture of a wiener dog wrapped in tin foil with the world. I have two wiener dogs, and at least one of them is probably getting tin-foiled soon, thanks to you.
