I have a friend at work that still uses his original equipment. He will be smoke free for 4 years come December. He likes strawberry ejuice and I want to make him up some. I subohm so I use 80/20. What would be a good ratio for something like this? 1.8 ohm coils.

I started a brother of mine vaping 2 years ago with an iStick 20 and N mini. He won't consider using anything else and that's fine. He consumes may be 3.5 ml per day and he's not smoking. If it ain't broke...

I mix for him and keep him at 50-50 and the same 12 mg nic, the same as he started on.

I can't fault my friend for sticking by what works for him. Like you said, if it ain't broke.

he is old school. Can cook and bake cakes from scratch. Has a garden makes jams and preserves and always sharing his goodies with his coworkers. I'd like to do him a solid and make him some juice. Thanks for all your replies. 50/50 it is.

I always vaped 70Pg/30Vg (plus or minus) in my Protanks. What ever works for him is what he needs. I don't see a problem with wicking in those coils. Vapers have used juice mixes that were all over the place with a Protank. Mostly, it depends on whether he's after flavor or vapor.

I changed to Kayfuns to get control over wicking and reduce the price of a new head every couple of days. That got expensive a few years ago when Kanger changed to nr/r/nr coils. The silver solder melted after a day or two and the coil went open. They later switched to welded non-resistance legs and solved the problem.
