Pg vs. Vg nic

just wanting to check my thinking on this,,,i bought PG Nic,,i,m mixing my diy ejuice at 50/50,, with PG flavorings,,should I be using VG NIC,I'm very happy with my diy juices ( flavor)but its tough to keep the 50/50 mix, sometimes my calc.says -.x PG,I'm just saying wouldnt it be worth my $ to buy VG NIC? Any help would be appreciated.thanks i love this forum..

I can't really help...sorta in the same dilemma. I've been ordering in 100% pg base but just placed an order in 100% vg base...I just know you go through much more of one or the other (pg-vg) according to your nic base...I've hardly dented the pg I bought.

I use 100% VG nic, 50/50 mix I can only do 20mg/ml with 50mg/ml nic, if I want 60/40 I would have to lower the mg/ml nic.
My next order I plan to get 50/50 nic, or just higher nic level and cut it.

I'm no expert, but have been mixing for 2 years or so.

plus the cost of VG is higher (localy), and I still have damn near a gallon of PG from 6 months ago, lol

It's actually quite simple.

If you vape a higher VG mix get Nic in VG

if you vape a higher PG mix get your NIC in PG.

If you vape a 50/50 and can't make your mg strength using VG 50mg because of a high percentage of PG flavor. Increase your vg nicotine strength to 75 or 100mg.
