I was about to purchase some new flavors from Vapor bomb when I noticed that one of the options is a choice between Vegetable glycerine & Propylene glycol. Is there any difference between the two?? Does one burn better than the other? Is it a personal preference?? Does one work better with different e cigs? I am confused. Please help!! If there is a thread on this, please post a link. I did a search and could not find anything on this.

Thanks

There are others on this forum who can explain the difference, throat hit, sweetness, etc...

I, for one, cannot do any PG eliquids. I am allergic to the stuff. I can't even taste any flavors in the eliquid if it contains PG. Just taste PG...

Try 'em both an see how it goes... From what I read here, I'm the exception to the rule.

My preference is changing...

I loved the extra vapor I got from VG, but it really waters down the flavor. So I've been sort of slowly adding less and less VG, and finally just got to a point where I'm thinking I don't mind the dip in vapor production so much, because I'm starting to want strong flavors more than vapor.

So, just depends on you really!

have to agree with the other replies, you'll have to test and figure out what's right for you right now. You may start with 100% PG and want something smoother in a month or two. the one thing I've noticed that no one else mentioned, is at 100% PG, some flavors give me a bit of harshness in the throat hit, especially anything with mint in it. I've went to 80/20 and am now at 60/40. This seems to be my personal sweet spot, decent throat hit, lots of vapor, good flavors and none of the harshness I had at 100% or 80/20.

Do you have to mix them yourself or can you order them with the % you like?

It depends on where you want to buy your juices from. At some companies, you have a choice of how much you want of each element, and with other companies, you have no choice. The best way to know is to check each company's website, or send them an email to inquire.

80/20/ or 70/30 is a good start.
I get plenty of throat hit with all VG liquids...
I usually get my Vb liquids 50/50 - and fruity ones at 80vg/90pg and dairy/creamy sweet all VG

Also, depends on flavor as well... and this is personal preference...
I think savory/rich flavors come through more in VG...

While fruity and spicy flavors come though better in PG -

When I first started vaping, I thought VG meant "Very Good" like it was a premium liquid or something --- lol
