I suspect most like a mix of PG vs VG, I assume ( but do not know ) that a non-smoker ( someone that never smoked ) would prefer VG over PG, and someone that smoked would rather have a bit more PG, particularly at the beginning.

But that is 100% guess work on my part

I find that VG provides a much thicker cloud of visible vapor, while at the same time providing less taste, and less of the feeling ( throat hit ) like having a cigarette, PG provides more flavor, and more throat hit, but less visible vapor.

I personally find 100% VG to have a strange almost plastic feel to the flavors I vape... but that just might be in my mind, other people may feel and taste differently .

I vape 80-20 ( PG/VG ) but I do like some VG in there, in fact I am thinking of going to 70/30

I've tried every mix I can think of and prefer 100% PG for flavor and TH

VG gives a little more vapor but also washes out flavor a little, has to be cut with water or PGA(pure grain alcohol)because it's thick as mud.

to be honest tho some some flavors benefit from the smoothness VG causes

it's really best(and a lotta fun) to just start trying every mix you can think of ...some pepole will try every mix and gimmick known to man and conclude that apples are the best fruit you can get, others are sure oranges are.

PG gives TH, VG is sweet

It's the other way around, actually.

I find vg to be generally too rough for my tastes (although it depends on the juice -- some juices are just better with more vg), but pure pg is too thin, so I tend to like a bit of vg to thicken things up, usually 80/20.

But it doesn't make a huge difference to me, really. I enjoy juices at 50/50, too.

Can I ask were everyone, or just someone buys ejuice from? And what is TH? Thanks!

A blend for sure. I like 70pg/30vg. 30% VG is enough to buffer the irritation of nicotine well enough so my tongue doesn't get sore, but little enough so I still get TH and good flavor. I like anything within 10% of 70/30.

hi dormouse,
I'm new to vaping, last night I ordered an e-cig (the GLV super mini, pre-ordered) and a mod (the Reo Grand mini). Could you point me to a good place to order supplies, like attys juice and the like? Also, could you recommend attys or carts to buy for each of these? Also, do I have to mix with the GLV super mini?

Agreed. Too much VG tastes plastic to you, and very "waxy" to me. I'll only go 30% VG in order to avoid that, unless I'm getting a flavor that is specific in it's mix and doesn't offer options.

I started with all out VG. Then recently did a PIF to try some fruity flavors and they all are PG heavy. I find PG to taste very chemically and I dont like the feel on my throat. I was an ultra light smoker and prefer more smooth, so I'll stick with my Vegetable Glycerin and dilute it with distilled water to improve viscosity. I don't really trust PG honestly, but there is always a bit of PG in there as a lot of flavors are PG based, so at a 20% flavoring Im still taking the chance of 20pg/80vg.

VG is more vapor
