Pg can be used to spray on your fishing lures to prevent them from freezing. Probably can't use that excuse everywhere. But here in Alaska it is a pretty darn good one.

That's what I will be telling the pharmacist!

I doubt they wouldn't sell it to you if you said for ecigs..probably wouldn't care what you're using it for really..in fact they probably would have to sell you it if you asked for it...

Not to be disagreeable, but most stores don't have to sell you anything. That whole "No shoes, no shirt, no service" bit goes a bit farther than that. They have the right to deny service to anyone, for just about any reason. (Obviously not the protected things like race/gender/religion/etc) If they have a suspicion (however unfounded) that you're making something illegal with it, they can and probably will refuse, and call the police and all of that jazz.

Well I agree that if you told them you were doing something illegal with it they wouldn't have to..but pharmacy's are most likely under regulation in NY and they probably could lose there license to sell drugs if they refused to sell you something that is sold over the counter within reason of course..I'm sure there are reasons they don't have to sell you some things..if a pharmacy told me they suspected I was doing something illegal and called the police they would get there pants sued off..BTW CVS in my local town sells me syringes and I told them I use them for ecigs but they said they didn't care what I did with them..no questions asked...

If you order online take a look at Essential Depot. A gallon of PG isn't even $0.01 per ml when I bought my gallon.

When I used to get it at the drugstores, I just told them I used it in my humidifacation devices for my cigar humidors.

When I ordered my PG at Wally World(in pharmacy) I told them I was using it for ecig and had no problem.
For those of you that have a business you can get a gallon of VG for free from P&G chemicals. Go online and look up what VG is used for and angle it toward your business and bingo in 1-3 week one gallon of FREE vg on your doorstep.

You can't always believe what people working in stores tell you anymore..years ago people that worked in stores either knew or asked someone before saying they didn't carry something. It seems the trend anymore is to just be lazy and if it's not easily found tell the customer they don't carry it. Trust me I've been told by more than one store that they don't carry something only to find out they do later or to find it myself...

You would be incorrect.......1st time I inquired I said e-cigs and the pharmacist looked at me funny and said they didn't sell it.......no one has to sell anything to you.......many people have bias towards e-cigs......I was just trying to help some people out.........I'd just rather buy pharma grade from a pharmacy instead of tractor supply or the feed store

I don't have any information about Glycerol, and I'm sure someone will pop in and say something like "no, just use VG or PG, anything else probably wouldn't work as well, and would have some issues with this or that."

But! VG is so easy to find, as it seems. Walmart carries it, and if you're not within 15 minutes of driving to get to Walmart, then you're in some funky country (or alaska). The 4oz bottle is like 3 bucks at walmart. Easy-peasy lemon squeezy.

I haven't been able to find VG as of yet - PG on the other hand...I'm getting a gallon this week!

this funky country has a walmart and usp VG is 4.50 a bottles with sales tax

and it is not lemon squeezy flavored either
