It says feed grade.
I'm confused.
Does it have to be USP? Or is feed grade the same thing? Is there a big difference? Am I asking too many questions? :) Who wrote the Book of Love?:D

Feed grade is okay as long as it says USP on it.

And I have no idea who wrote the book of love :D

If you still want the cost savings of a big bottle (or even a smaller one... good prices) and not worry about the quality of the PG, buy from the link in my DIY blog. I found them when I realized that Tractor Supply didn't take orders on-line, and the nearest one to me was out 'in the sticks'.

Hell, here it is for convenience:

$6.49 for a 16 oz bottle
$22.99 for a gallon

Generic - Propylene Glycol #338-230-Z

I'm still slightly confused. What is needed to make the "base" liquid, that would vape? Not counting the additives, such as nicotine, flavorings, etc.

At this moment, I'm assuming that the "base" liquid may be a percentage of PG, and a percentage of glycerin, and I could vape plain steam.

Yes, the base of almost all liquid for ecigs is PG, or propylene glycol. Some liquids have a mixture of PG and glycerine, TW for one, and some are solely glycerine based, for those who may be allergic to PG.

Thanks, that answered my question. I also checked out your link to the screwdriver. As a 40+ year veteran of repairing & maintaining heavy machinery, that is the best looking thing I've seen yet. I plan on looking into it further.

Thanks yvilla - So is it safe to say that for cutting liquid, you could use either PG or Glycerin? Is one better than the other? I just bought the Humco Glycerin and am wondering if I should have bought PG.

Either is safe. But the Humco glycerine is a lot thicker than PG. So if you wanted to cut your juice say 50%, it might be better to use PG, or sme distilled water if you use the glycerine and it comes out too thick.
