I own an IPV2 and a Cloupor. So far I have been very happy with both. As far as performance goes, the IPV2 blows the Cloupor out of the water. It fires instantly and doesn't have that 1/2 second run on after the button is released. I can drip with the IPV2 which I don't find very satisfying with the Cloupor. The battery life with the IPV2 is much better also. The IPV2 fits in my pocket better but the Cloupor with the rounded corners is more comfortable in the hand. The "touch fire" sensor on the IPV2 is something I could definately live without but it doesn't cause me any troubles.

I have not watched Phil's video yet so I don't know exactly what he didn't like about his IPV2. Rip Tripper seemed to love his though. I'm not sure how you could say his video was right on the money when you admittedly don't own the product. I like and use both PV's, and if I had to choose one or the other it would be the IPV2 without hesitation.

Thanks nuclear cowboy!

Phil's main issue with qc was his battery door was off... It had a gap on either side, and the top of the door was higher than the top of the mod when attached.
He also had some issues with the touch sensor, mainly it would continuously fire with a low battery even after removing his finger, or when the sensor was wet.
It also misread his resistance once.
The battery was loose enough that when he tapped it hard enough it would restart the device.

Sounds like he got a bad sample. I've read a few of the other threads and most seem to be very happy with the product.

Yeah...mine is a great mod...

As far as the video goes...I don't give a f about how you don't typically drip, use low nicotine...yada yada yada..

And the touch sensor... I made a 5minute video of how it auto-fires...but you don't even have to get all the liquid, sweat, or whatever off...you just have to touch it, or the case of a couple of my tests, just tip it over and let the juice run off of it....disengages every time..

But alas...phil got a crap mod, so they're all crap. The JJ-vapes(100~ mods-possible beta versions) and fluid vapes(beta versions) are the only ones I've seen issues with.

Edit- here is after my touch sensor test. 4mL of juice poured on touch sensor in 1/4-1/2mL increments.. it's a little hard to distinguish the plastic that is filed down from being wet or dry, but it was dry... I also allowed the liquid to sit in the seam for about a minute.

plus if you dropped it ...well nuff said........the threads i been reading about it from owners report one thing after another.....think i'll wait for a better built device, btw i'm very satisfied with my Cloupor..........

.........this post is not directed to anyone personally........

......on another note, this is my opinion and i have a rite to it just as others do theirs and there is nothing personal about my comment ......if your happy with your purchase of this device more power to ya! :vapor:

I watched Phil's video and everything he said about his mod was on camera, except the reading the resistance low. There was glue oozing from under the logo, the case did not close, the lip if the case kept the atty from touching the top of the mod, the thing fired all by itself with a low battery, it came with a card saying it had gone through QA.

The fit and finish problems were immediately apparent so either they did not do QA or c..p passes QA.

None of the problems were enough to make the mod unusable. Just don't use the touch sensor, wipe the glue off, and ignore the fit of the case.

If you accept that then the mod is fine.:2c:

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?:)

assuming they knew it was phil ... and i were him i'd order under another name

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure most of what Phil reviews is being sent directly from the vendor at no cost to him ....

Generally when one of the "main" reviewers actually purchases a unit for review ... they won't advertise the vendors site during the review. (And often times they'll even mention where you can get it cheaper)

I've been watching Phil's reviews for a while, here's how I've seen him do it:
1) if he gets it from a vendor, he mentions he got it from them, and what their online price is
2) he got it from the manufacture: he googles the product and give you the first hit that carrys the product and quotes their price.
3) he buys it from a vendor - same as 1

That's just what I've seen. I've never seen him look for the best price, etc. at least as I recall
