Are there any reviewers other than PBusardo (I love PBusardo reviews) that actually talks about the mod's electronics? He can only do so many.
Just watched a review for the iPV Mini. It's a nice video and looks like a nice mod. It's a mini dna 30 essentially. The reviewer spent about 10 minutes covering the form factor and what atties could work on it. He used the SXMini as a comparison. Why? Because they look the same. Seriously? Comparing a SX130 chip mod to a sx350 chip mod based on looks? Not bashing this reviewer or the mod, just C'MON MAN!
I see this all the time. Shouldn't a review of an electronic product include some info on how well the electronics work? The price difference isn't because one used better metal (well, maybe) but because one chip is probably a $10 chip and the other is a $70 chip. Mainly because one has step down or buck boost ability(the more expensive one) and the other doesn't. If you use most clearomizers or a kayfun you may not want 4.2 volts with a fresh battery. Wattages isn't the end all, be all of electronic mods. Okay, rant over.
