Although both Phiniac and IBTanked make very durable tanks, the tubes are glass and could not be described as indestructable.

Just for the record, I have 1 Phiniac and over a dozen IBTanked. I've managed to crack the Phiniac (hairline crack, but it leaks) but not the IBTanked.

The toughest tank I've had that I would describe as the most durable against "abuse" would be the Big Daddy tanks by Big Daddy Vapor. These are anodized aluminum with a small view window for the juice, available in multiple colors.

Glass... any glass tank can be broken. Polypropylene is more unbreakable... and that's probably what you want.
Saying that, I've yet to break a IBT or Phiniac tank... even a drop to concrete only put a small chip on the outside of a IBT 22mm tank.

Valley View Vapes made nice, aluminum and SS end cap polypro tanks, but he closed his doors and sold off his inventory to - I don't know who. I can't recommend a polypro tank now... 'cause most of the ones "readily available" are crap and the rest seem to be grommet tanks.

Perhaps the M1A1 Buzz tank... they don't tell you what the tube is made of, other that to say it's unbreakable. I'm guessing polypropylene.

It's not polypropylene because that is frosted in appearance, their tube material is clear so I'm betting it's still a thicker polycarbonate. Still, it looks to be a durable tank as long as you don't put corrosive flavors in it like cinnamon & citrus flavors.

Think so? Could be polycarbonate... never bought one, 'cause "unbreakable" isn't real high on my list of important requirements. ;-)

The OP would have been a lot easier to answer if Ray was still in business. You know who bought his inventories?

and these are safe with all juices because the inner sleeve is polypropylene instead of polycarbonate?

yeah... sorry guys. wife's kinda clumsy at times. likely to drop it, step on it, trip over it, kick it into a curb, give up, forget about it... THEN run over it with the car at some point in time. then she'll likely scream "....." with a quick flail of her fists and go back to try to chain vape out the stress she caused herself. and she's a pain in the .... that likes citrus and cinnamon, etc. ...

If you don't necessarily mean a carto-tank, and you DO mean indestructible, that brings us to the Tatroe.

It's not a carto-tank. It's like a ProTank carved from a hunk of stainless. It's a "steelomiser".

I think I'm allowed to do this - sorry if not - but there were a few for sale that didn't all sell in the classifieds this weekend, if you're interested...

The vendor claims the window is safe against the volatile flavors, so it is either polypropylene or glass. My daughter uses one of these tanks (a pink one on a pink BB) and vapes Cinnamon in it with no problems.

And no, I don't know who took over Ray's business. He still frequents the message board here, so maybe he'll comment here later since he's no longer a vendor.

while i have you here and you've seen my description of the wifes likely eventual happenings. do you think a provari would be an ideal match for her and the big daddy?

i was thinking purple provari, boge xl laser punched cartos, a slap yo mama and some pretty drip tips would be right up her alley.

I seriously doubt that she could injure a Provari. Maybe crack the LED display window or break a tank connector off of the top center pin. But yeah, Provari is the toughest regulated mod made. And Provape will repair it for as long as you own it.

If she is really a klutz, no glass tanks for her. Big Daddy Tank would be best. Probably wouldn't survive being run over by a car, but then no tank will.

I believe the company that bought Ray's inventory is in Texas. He said he was going to let people know who the vendor is once the details were worked out. I wouldn't be surprised if his mailing list was part of the package and I receive an announcement from the new owners.

In the meantime, it seems that a lot of the folks who hung out on the VVV threads now hang out on GlassmanOak's thread, so you may be able to find out from there.

that's what i was hoping you would say. i was seriously hoping i didn't have to consider a mech mod with a kick to save her from her clumsiness. i doubt she'd pay attention to battery charge state and i'm not sure the kick does, either.

yup. for now. when she's settled in, then she can get whatever girly things she'd like. that way she'll always have something indestructible to get through the day.
