Hangdude, I just looked at your submissions, let me make sure I understand you submitted your first line 5 times, I assume this is when your keyboard got stuck?? And then submitted 2 different lines. I assume you only meant to submit the first line once. So I will delete the other 4 times you submitted the first one before picking a winner and we will be all set!

I think the only fair thing to do is to delete all (everyone's) entries up to this point and start over.

I used the concept, but changed it a little - but so true just more chance for her line to be the ending! Can't wait to read these - reminds me of the movie "Clue" where they had all the alternative endings . . . :)

Yes, I feel left out when I can't play :(

Yours were better then mine!

Lots of tears from you today!

You will care and you will play :p it's going to be bunches of fun.

I promise we will play russian roulette. That one just took a little more work on my end then I could invest at the moment and could have feasibly gone on for a very long time! I tend to be less busy with my "day job" during the summer, so that is likely when we will do it!

moorea - you do computer graphic stuff, right? My neighbor does also, and she has said winter is alot busier for her too ...
Why is that? I would think internet is all year long type stuff. Maybe because of the holidays? Just wondered ....

I host and develop/design e-commerce websites (I do non e-commerce as well, but 90% of my sites are e-commerce) In addition to that I layout and design print ads for magazines, signs flyers, labels etc, design logos for products and finally I do the product shots for my customers when needed.

As for being less busy in summer time, the website stuff never stops, customers require changes for their websites year round. But a large majority of my customers are in the embroidery industry. I have other customers as well (even an e-cig supplier as you know) but the ones that keep me the busiest are my embroidery industry customers. Their biggest trade shows are in the winter and before every show they require a ton of print work, signs, adds, invitations you name it. So that adds to my load. Another of my customers sells and rents snowbikes (a bicycle like ski thingy) so he tends not need changes or work done in the summer. Finally I think some of my customers simply get lazy come summer time. They take family vacations this time of year and leave early on a very nice day! They tend to develop new products etc in the winter and most new customers don't want to think about the work involved in developing a new website when the sun is shining and they can be out playing.

And for me personally, towards the height of summer our days get VERY long. Sun rises at about 5am and it is dusk until 11pm (maybe later) so dinners tend be later etc. And I don't have to worry about school stuff and home work.

So there is just more time for me in summer!

Thanks for linking that! Haven't read it in quite some time :)

Yeah, I couldn't remember the name and made a shambles of my book shelf looking for them. In the end I found all my old Shell books on the daughters book shelf. Even my 35+ year old copy of the Giving Tree where my mommy neatly wrote my name and phone # in it!

I find that for every situation in life, if you think back hard enough you will come up with a Shell Silverstein poem to suit the moment. If the kids are watching too much TV or playing to many videos "Jimmy Jett and his TV set" if the son wants to stay home sick once again, that one is easy "i cannot go to school today said little peggy ann mckay", if you are getting ready for a trip or just feeling silly "Ickle Me Pickle Me Tickle Me To!" and if all else fails and Shell did not come through, there is always "Where the Wild Things Are!"
