Once they got to the waterpark, it was ok ... I sat and read a book. I even tried to "stealth vape" but had my nice shiney silver eGo, my nice shiney Phin tank with alum caps, and a nice tall shiney ss ming ..... I didn't plan very well for stealth.

I assume that is the one in Grand Mound, WA? That might be an interesting thing to do with the sun on his b-day...

It is indoors isn't?

Depends if their your own or someone elses.

Nah, I have 3 boys and I always enjoyed taking them and their friends places. Shoot we'd go bowling, fishing...me being the tomboy I am......cliff diving.....shoot I loved those days, then they grew up and I have watched them get married, have babies, etc. I still see their friends quite often and they all still call me mom, gotta love it.

Enjoy this age with em it doesn't last long enough.

moorea, the place is defintely cool .... yes, Grand Mound ....
It's expensive, but if you figure you'd spend maybe $12-15 per person, per day for a waterpark, it makes a little more sense. The rooms have micros and fridges, so we take most our food, and their arcade is $$$$$ ..... just keep the kids in the waterpark. LOL

I don't mind being out doors with them doing thing but almost 19 hours of driving in a three day period... That is a long car ride!

It would be nicer if it was just my kids but if it is a birthday thing my son will want to bring a friend, then of course the daughter will as well. And two 14 year old girls, nine hours in the car could be worse then the boys!

moorea, the ONLY way to get in the waterpark is to stay there. They call it "private" .... Oooo. LOL It's owned by the local tribe, and it's big $$$.
The rooms are cool, we have stayed in the "Family Suite" (2 Q-beds), but girls didn't like me right there. Then we got the "Kid Cabin" (1 Q-bed and bunk and twin in this little "cabin" thing) but I could still hear them up all night blabbing.
So this time we got the "Majestic Bear Suite" ..... 2 queen beds out in the main area, and a separate bedroom for ME!!! I told them as long as they didn't break anything, or leave the room, I didn't care what they did, and shut my door! LOL

How far from it are you?

It isn't looking good. I asked the daughter if she wanted to go and she was cool with it. I asked my son and he asked where it was, when I told him, his reply was "I don't want to sit int he car for 6 hours!"

I didn't even bother to tell him it was actually a little more then 9 hours. I looked up plain tickets but they are $300 a piece and as fun as it sounds don't feel like spending $1200 to get there (and that would be leaving out the kids friends) Train is $500 dollars for the 4 of this. I guess it is just to far for the long weekend I was planning.

Sounds like a better idea for the summer though :p

It takes us about 1.5 hrs to get there .... I keep saying we have to stay longer than 1 night, but haven't done that yet. Then it's really getting up there for $$$

If I was that close I would definitely go for a night! Sounds like a fun way to spend a night.

The aluminum caps were short lived. We got 10 to test and once it was announced we got tons of emails and complaints that they were "unsafe" but then got tons of emails and complaints saying they were. I couldn't find anything conclusive one way or another, but we decided that with all the different opinions we will instead to Stainless Steel caps instead. Just have to wait until we can afford them!
