Well, shorter or longer, it has to be for a purpose to make sense. I thought I had read at one time that they were going to maybe go LONGER. (XL tank size).
What I don't understand is how an amount such as .8mm benefits any application, longer or shorter. But after working with several devices and discussing with their makers, much of their decisions don't have much sense.

Yankee, addressing your any application thought.
If boge made their xl cartos .8mm longer, they would fit better
on my xl tanks from moo. ;)

Been a while since I vaped on cartos in a tank. I seem to remember boge cartos fitting perfectly in Moo's tanks. Did their specs change?

Well I thought I was starting to get proficient at this vaping thing with my protanks and my 1100 mAh batteries, but I'm at a loss with this stuff. I am going to place an order for a custom tank and I was looking through the cartomizer talk, an it's over my head. I googled all the cartos that will work in a standard Phiniac tank, and came away a bit confused. Do I want to get these then? Then take the rubber stopper off and poke some holes in the tube? Or is that not what I'm looking for? Is that a standard Boge 510 carto?

Any links to what I need for a regular tank would be appreciated, TIA.

It's hard to tell from the pic if it is a Boge or not but that is the kind of carto you want, a stainless steel carto. You can get them here or here at the best price. You will also need a carto punch and tank tool which you can get here. I believe there is a video on the Phiniac site that shows how to use the carto and tank tool. For a reg size Phiniac tank you would want reg size carto as opposed to an XL carto.

Theyre making them shorter to save on resource costs. When youre making em by the hundreds of thousands shaving off .8mm can add up big time. That being said, I prefer Smoketech single coil pre-punched 2 hole cartos with a flange for tanks from Smoktek.com.

Ive literally bought 100s from Rob and rarely if ever get a dud. I havent touched a Boge since Bogegate and dont regret my decision one bit as Ive found these cartos to be much more absorbent and consistent overall.

No to redirect the discussion but wanted to share the new found sexiness for one of my Silver Bullets. :p

Bought it from the classifieds here. My first carto tank. Also have another coming direct from Phiniac. Ordered it before I received this one but with so much positive written about these tanks I rolled the dice. Glad I did.

I love it. Thanks Phiniac. These won't be my last.

New here :) I've read the last 10 or so pages of this thread trying to learn some stuff... but I have a few questions before ordering Phiniac tanks for me and my daughter.

I have a ProVari Mini with a Hoosier Vapes Bella tank on it currently. I'm using Boge standard 510 3.0 pre-punched cartos and I want to get a regular size Phiniac tank with titanium end caps. I would like to get a silhouette of a Chihuahua on the tank (do I need to email a picture). I don't use an adapter with the Bella tank... do I need one for more airflow with the Phiniac?

I'm buying my daughter a Skinny Phinny but right now she uses 900mah eGo T batteries and they don't have 510 threading so I will be buying new batteries for her but she wants them to be similar in size to the eGo T she's currently using. I wasn't sure if I should get her a twist, spinner, etc? Also, that brings up my next question... what ohm cartridges will she need with these new batteries? Will she need any adapters for the Skinny? She wants to keep things simple and just wants a setup that works well :) She's been using CE4 clearomizers for the past 2 years and is sick of them because they fail so quickly. She loves how her juice tastes in my tank setup! I would like to get a Chevrolet Bowtie on her skinny, is that possible?

Thank you and sorry for all the questions!

I am with you, zapped. I only buy the single coil pre-punched 2 hole cartos with a flange for tanks from Smoktek.com, too. They are solid, tasty, smooth, and duds are nearly non-existent. Always in a Phiniac tank, of course!
