I pulled one aside for myself :)

I really want to try it as well. However I have only recently tried my Killer 705 for the first time and I have had it for a very long time and still have not gotten around to trying my Cobra so who knows when my diver will see the inside of a tank.

When you do try it, please let me know what you think.

Just have Chris swap out the Killer for the Diver. I think it's already set up. I forget. If so, all you have to do is fill the tank. Just be sure you have the juice hole below the bottom cap when you fill the tank.

Oh I'll post some pros and cons. You know me. Sometimes I get carried away with pros and cons and the site **** out some of my adjectives.
I'm going to test it in a tank of course, but I'd also like to see if it runs "naked" and if so how it performs. Where I work banned smoking and gaping even on campus as of July 1. I'm having a hard time carrying around my .... carto.

Case - you tried both killer and diver?

Yes, I have both and will probably be selling the Killer. I like the ease of setting up a new coil with the diver and not having to mess with a juice control. The Diver works better in a Phiniac tank than the Killer does because you don't have to worry about the tight orings which made it hard to open the juice control on the Killer. I haven't had it very long so I'm still experimenting with different wicks. So far I'm liking ecowool best but I like cotton best in the Penelope. Weird. I hate silica.

SO... the CAN the diver be used "naked"? I guess I'm wondering if a "twist" will close a hole. I'm trying to accomplish two things here. One, revive my tanks, and two, have something I can use "naked" on a more stealthy mod.

And are you boiling your wicks? I've tried cotton/hemp and have had mixed results

If you want to use the Diver as a dripper than you would have to block the juice hole. This is what was nice about the Killer. It was a dripper, bottomfeeder and can be used in a carto tank.

Oh boiling wicks....yes I boil my cotton wicks. It gets the sizing and any other chemicals out of it. You can vape through all that but if you boil it first you don't get that funky earthy taste for so long. I didn't like hemp. All I use now is cotton braid or ecowool although I was gifted a piece of Nextel which is similar to ecowool but so far I'm liking the ecowool better.

Ok. Juice hole is NON adjustable. Good to know. well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad. Maybe I'll have to consider a killer as well.
Going to maybe be looking for a "naked" solution, a slightly oversized drip of sorts. So maybe I'll have to consider a Killer sometime as well. (looks like I gots more to sell) Not a drip and vape twice. but enough juice to cover a 5 minute break with a small refill bottle with me. I'll see what the diver exactly is when I get my grubby hands on it.

specific cotton you use? I'd love to wean off silica.... or reserve it for certain applications/juices. The cotton/hemp I boiled, and sometimes it was good, sometimes not so much. Maybe I didn't boil long enough the "not so much" times.

The Killer is 1 1/2" from the base to the top of the tube if that helps.

Definitely gives me an idea. Perfect for the discreet vaping I now have to sneak in where I can. Damn them for putting us vapers in the same category as smokers. So some attys/mods that I have that are 22 wide may be sold. And maybe I'll have to add something like simplicity or sturm. We'll see. For now I have my old ego's dusted off and a damn carto. I can't do cartos anymore. Hence the diver.
Have you vaped the diver with a drip shield? I'm reading the other thread and seeing the Grail (2 parts if I'm reading right). I'm looking for someone that used a shield.

No I haven't used a shield and the grail is probably what you need. Yes, it's an add on to the diver.

If you don't want to have to drip, but want to stay stealth, you might want to consider a regular size skinny tank. It will not add anymore height to your setup and isn't to much wider then the diver, so it should be as easy to discretely pocket the diver with the tanks as just the diver alone. It will hold around 1.2ml of juice, which should be plenty several 5 minute breaks.

I am going to get more info on the grail when I order again.

There I go...like the good ol days invading Moo's thread and running off......

Your not invading at all. It is all relevant and if not I still don't care.

But we will be carrying wire, mesh and wick very soon, it is already ordered, just waiting for it to arrive.

We will also be carrying the AGT. And because it is titanium that means we can anodize it different colors :)

See your derailment allowed me to pre plug new products!

The skinny tank will also protect the diver. It would be less likely to break at the connector in your pocket.
