I wasn't trying to upsell you really, just throwing out an idea
Now I feel like a pushy salesman knocking on your door an insisting you look at my $500 vacuum cleaner.
No, I was the pushy salesperson but was just trying to help him be stealthy.

And Moo, I suppose the next thing you're gonna tell me is it can be blasted custom, right?
I believe if I read case's earlier post right, there are ways to fiddle with it and use it naked.
Yes you did. BUT, YOU insinuated that it won't break in the skinny because it'll be protected. It would be protected in one of the regular tanks. BUT....I also realized all my tanks are XL. The *** quandary continues.
Oh I was teasing. There's a difference between a $500 Dyson and your skinny phinny. I may just have to go online and order the skinny. Maybe I'll just do a naked reg skinny. It's mainly for pocket.
Well. I can't wait to see the Diver. And plan my next purchase, or two, or three from Phiniac. I'll also see how a drip shield works for informational purposes. Wow. Lots of testing to do.
You're right. I hate silica but I'm glad you are looking into ecowool. What gauge Kanthal are you getting?
If you decide to try a skinny shoot me an email before you order.
Also if you do order soon and have credit issues, please email me. Unfortunately we were forced to add a fraud feature to our credit card processing or lose our CC provider. We were getting hit hard with credit card fraud and lost thousands of dollars... mostly cobras. The system takes each element of the order and gives it a score. One of the things it does not like is more then one order in a day as often if someone is using a stolen card and they were successful, they try again to get more stuff.
What? You lost thousands of dollars to thieves?![]()
Wow, you didn't know that. Shortly after we started selling the Cobra the charge backs started rolling in. 90% of them were for Cobra sales and usually they added several other things to their cart. Often they ordered two or more cobras, a few drip tips etc. The product was already shipped before the bank removed the money from our account so we were out the money and the product. Based on everything we were able to see on our end the sales look perfectly normal. Before the fraud software was setup on credit card processing there was really no way to tell the difference between the good charges and the bad.
The system has worked really well, but on occasion it does decline an order that it should not. Luckily we have been able to contact almost all of the valid declined orders and provide them with other means of payment. It has stopped far more fishy orders then good ones.
HOLY ....! That's a damn shame. I know I had issues checking out with the diver on my pp card. Had to use another. If you decide to try a skinny shoot me an email before you order.

I would think that if you just drip enough but not overfill that the drip shield would take any little drips and collect them cleanly rather than soak your pocket. But I haven't seen the hole size on diver. How is a drip shield going to help?

That's terrible and really pisses me off. I've been hit 3 times this year by thoseing thieves but I got my money back. I had a chance to catch one of them to press charges but the damn merchant wouldn't give out the name and address to me or to my bank. What's the matter with people?
That merchant just let them get away because they got the merchandise back before it could be delivered. That's why there's so much of this fraud going on lately. Nobody will do anything about it. End of rant.

Well it won't be tonight. It may be tomorrow though. I'm ducking down. I'll shoot you an email before hand. You have an order for me already for diver. And I don't imagine it shipping too early if tomorrow even. So I'll prob catch shipping.

Might work. Hole size is about 1mm.
We never had an opportunity to get the merchandise back and never knew who had actually placed the order, just the info of the person who had their card jacked. Most of them were orders going to other countries and they all used those shipping services. So for example if the billing was in Cali, they would use a cali shipping service and everything looked on the up and up until days later when the product was gone and the charge back came in.
But there were case that the order was within the US and they shipped to the billing address or in another country but the billing and shipping is the same. The AVS system does not verify billing addresses on international charges, so someone can use their own address as the billing address and get away with it. According to my CC company people actually choose the fastest shipping method with tracking so they can watch the tracking and grab the package from the mailbox or porch of the house it is being delivered to (ie: the owner of the card)
Over the years I have had my credit card compromised, not recently, but it has happened. I've never given it much thought or cared as my bank usually knew about it before I did and always made it right, I got my money back before I knew it was missing.... no harm done.
I never thought about it from the vendors point of view until now, it never occurred to me that if I got my money back, the vendor likely sent out product and did not get paid.
Have people had problems with that hole... it looked pretty small to me to work with thicker juices.
