Have people had problems with that hole... it looked pretty small to me to work with thicker juices.

I should probably answer your question better. Some people have had problems with dry hits and flooding but it's not due to the hole size. It's due to their setup or how they are filling the tank. If you use too much wick and choke off the juice you get dry hits. If you fill wrong it floods.

I just checked the fraud system. If you had problems with the pp card it wasn't on our end, there was no entry in the fraud system for you, whatever caused the problem happened before it got to us.

Nah. It was an odd problem. Saying it was invalid info. I tried three times and it said invalid info. But I just swiped that very card at a store the day before. Fickle these things are.

We never had an opportunity to get the merchandise back and never knew who had actually placed the order, just the info of the person who had their card jacked. Most of them were orders going to other countries and they all used those shipping services. So for example if the billing was in Cali, they would use a cali shipping service and everything looked on the up and up until days later when the product was gone and the charge back came in.

But there were case that the order was within the US and they shipped to the billing address or in another country but the billing and shipping is the same. The AVS system does not verify billing addresses on international charges, so someone can use their own address as the billing address and get away with it. According to my CC company people actually choose the fastest shipping method with tracking so they can watch the tracking and grab the package from the mailbox or porch of the house it is being delivered to (ie: the owner of the card)

Over the years I have had my credit card compromised, not recently, but it has happened. I've never given it much thought or cared as my bank usually knew about it before I did and always made it right, I got my money back before I knew it was missing.... no harm done.

I never thought about it from the vendors point of view until now, it never occurred to me that if I got my money back, the vendor likely sent out product and did not get paid.

I guess I never looked at it that way either. In the long process of "protecting the purchaser", someone will lose. It's amazing how clever some of the crooks are. Someone jacks my card and orders a product, reaches into my mailbox and jacks the product, I get home and no product. What do I do? Call my CC. EVERYTHING works as it should BUT this also shows the other side as to how it protects me. It unfortunately screws the vendor. I certainly hope the fraud protect helps eliminate this.

You could also have a policy that orders over X amount require a signature? Factor that into the shipping? It's not fool proof but...

Stamps does not offer a signature required for international packages.... we have thought about it. It might have something to do with the fact that USPS does not actually deliver the package, they hand it off to the postal service in that country.

But yes as a card holder, I am happy that I am protected but as a vendor it isn't so easy. What it boils down to is a vendor has to accept credit cards responsibly. The fraud system has been a huge help, while I feel bad it has caused issues for a few honest customers, it is a small price to pay to not only protect ourselves, but the person whose credit card has been stolen.

Pretty serious on this thread since I visited last.
How's everybody doing?
Hello to all. :)

Hey JP, how are you? It has been a long time.

Funny you of all people dropped in during this particular serious conversation as I have been meaning to PM you. Our CC processor has blocked us from taking credit cards from certain countries. The two countries that most of the fraudulent purchases came from were Malaysia and the Philippines. I've been thinking of you since I they told me I can no longer accept purchases through the their gateway from these countries. If you need to order anything PLEASE email me and let me know and I will make sure you are taken care of.

Been good, Moo.
Yes, it has been ages since I've been here on the boards.
And, yes, that has been a perennial problem for me and all the honest vapers here in Manila.
But, I'm sure we can work something out for future orders. (western union, etc.)
Hope all is well with you, Moo. :)

@yankeebobo: Couldn't have said it any better.

It really does make me feel bad as I have zero doubt at all that the majority of the people from the countries we are no longer allowed to service are good honest people just trying to make a purchase. We still have a fairly large list of countries they will allow us to sell to. But several were knocked off the list. Most of the ones removed we got very few orders from with the exception of Malaysia and the Philippines. And one of the things I have really enjoyed is meeting and chatting with so many people around the world.

And as far as good customer service goes, actually contacting you one of the many times I thought about would have been better customer service!

And I had vape mail today (Diver). This is going to be interesting. Oddly, I'm used to working with that exact ceramic so it wasn't as bad as I expected. First shot fired right up. Took a few pulls on it perfectly. Now to finish assembly of the Diver INSIDE the tank. :)

Did you get the flanged or flangless?
