This is the EXACT ceramic used in the iAtty, so you'd think I'd be used to it. But HERE, you have to THREAD the .... through holes that my eyes can only see when held up to a damn light. I'll need readers before you know it. So now, you can imagine if I don't have the best of light, it's like poking with a limp wire PRAYING you nail the hole.

The flavor is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. It's silica wick (and I have some twik on order). So anything but cartos as I can no longer vape cartos. BUT, I'll add a few drops of water to the tank, shake this bahama mama to a pulp and it still won't freakin wick. I'm beginning to wonder if my wife's DIY juice is 100% pure VG with a dash of thickener. Sometimes the water works and most times it doesn't. And dry pulls have my face feeling a bit strained. But then I'll pop the top cap off the skinny phinny, top off with more juice, and all of a sudden it caves and with each pull I take, it bubbles.

So you think I'd be happy and leave it alone right? NOPE I have to figure out what it's doing so I figure "Hey, it's been a couple days. I'll change flavor". Rinse, and repeat because the very same issues appear.

You're not filling the tank properly. You don't need to take the top cap off your tank. Insert the diver through the bottom cap with the tank tool in place. Push the diver in about half way but make sure the juice hole in the diver is outside the tank. Now fill the tank about 3/4 and slide the diver all the way up through the top cap. I'm using 100% VG diluted with 5% DW and it wicks perfectly.

Oh I'm filling the tank with the tank tool and everything. That's really what I meant by the top cap. It's pull down on the mod with the tool in place, add a couple drops of DW, reinsert (while the orings constantly get extra lube from juice). It's like a pogo rally here.
Wicks are trimmed, if I leave them any longer, they'll get cut by the threads. If any shorter, then I may as well leave the wicks out. This is nuts. Damn it I'm going to figure out what is off. Because flavor wise? It's great.

How full are you filling the tank?

oh and I'll add how I've managed to slip the bottom cap off a couple times. I'll tell you one thing about the skinnys.... you don't have to wrench your arm off taking the caps off.

I wouldn't know about that. I never take the end caps off. Well, not since the first time I tried anyway. I nearly ripped my fingernails off. :p

I've tried all sort of ways. Just under, full. You name it. Now remember I've never had problems when I DID use cartos in the tanks.
I'm going to try adding a few drops of DW to a small 3ml bottle and get that shaken and fill with that directly.

I never could get the caps off. The skinny is easier to take apart if needed.

I place an order (first time) for a couple in-stock tanks last Sunday and early Monday morning. What is the current processing time?

If you placed your orders last Sunday/Monday and they are the orders I think they are (#06238 & #06247) they shipped on Saturday and are both out for delivery today. You should have received emails with tracking for both orders.

Sandblasted tanks ship in 1 to 4 business days starting the day after order to ship and frost coloring adds 1 to 2 days to this. Normally we do not ship on Saturdays, but sometimes we do.

Each tank is crafted by hand after the order is placed in the order it was placed. First a mask is made, then the mask is applied to the tank, then the tank is sandblasted. After sandblasting the mask is removed and the tank is then polished. After polishing the tank is then painted. It must then air dry for 24 hours, then it is baked then it must cool and cure before it can be packaged and shipped.

So a sandblasted colored tank can take as long as 6 business days starting the business day after it was ordered.

We do strive whenever possible to get the tanks out sooner and not use the entire 6 business days stated by our policies and often do. But that of course depends on our order load and how many tanks we have to do. In most cases tanks ship out in 2 to 3 business day. However for the past few weeks we have had a ton of orders and have pretty much been at 4 to 6 business day turn around.

sashie likes nv too sometimes. :p

Nice phinny, nv. It is totally you! Did you get the titanium caps? If so how much lighter does the tank feel with them?

It is not a phinny, it is a standard tank. At this time we do not have TI for the phinny tanks, just the delrin.

The video I saw for the Diver said for the first fill it should be filled half way.

Well damn. The one vid I don't think I watched. Ok. I'll watch this one, and try it. But I'm yelling you, if someone says I have to stand on my head, upside down, while singing....

Don't yell, we are trying to help you. I DID say don't fill the tank all the way.
