The base has a metal core that extends about 3/8" into the tip, not the full length. Here is a sneak peek (I will need to keep a few of these for "Product Evaluation" :D)

SWEET

I am definitely eyeing a super duper long neck...especially if an ornate one comes down the pipe. I am very excited about the MM and Phinny partnership. Strap on your big boy panties MM, because demand is going to soar IMMEDIATELY on these tanks. This is a product not available anywhere else I know of...wood tanks. Awesome awesome product whose time is nigh

Well, that is a horrible picture - maybe Moorea can re-post, I sent it to her too?

Just made my 1st purchase at Phiniac. 1 clear tank, 1 sandblasted. Next one will be handblown. ;)

Just an FYI ... Since we introduced the sandblasted tanks the handblowns have become more and more unpopular. Batches of 50 to 100 used to sell in a few days, now batches of 6 to 12 sit for months. On occasion we do make small batches to add to the website but we are mostly doing them by request. So if there was one you were interested in please send an email to info@phiniac.com.

Got my tanks in today! :D
I don't know how they got here so fast! I checked the tracking number last night, and they had just left Montana yesterday. Maybe the driver had to pee or something. hehe
They look great! Thanks so much. I'm looking forward to future purchases!!!

Jen is having her 4th surgery today so she might not be online if anyone has any questions but feel free to ask. Somebody may have the answer. Let's all keep her in our thoughts. This one is not a serious one so she may be able to go home today.

Actually, it was my 5th surgery :(

I am "up", but not really "around" yet. For people waiting on custom masks, I will be back to doing them on Friday :)
