Just wanted to let everyone know that my Phiniac tank review is, as promised, complete and beginning the long journey to be uploaded on youtube as we speak. Spoiler alert: it does contain footage of me putting my full weight on a tank both standing vertical and then laying horizontal (the tank, not me ). I don't want to spoil it completely, but I will say it was a less-then-graceful performance on my part. I'll post a link here when it's available either later tonight or tomorrow.

I love my two Phiniac tanks. But I recently got a Kayfun Lite. Tonight I was looking at it, and my tanks - and I start thinking...
* Kayfun Lite tank section length 35mm, outside diameter 22mm (according to the User Manual)
* Phiniac Regular tank length 34.5mm, outside diameter 22.2mm, including caps
What about threaded titanium caps?

In order to keep the TI cap prices low we have to buy them in extremely large quantities and I just can't see doing so to fit someone elses product without having a clue how many are out there and how many more then plan to make. I can end up getting stuck with several thousand dollars worth of caps and have nothing to do with them.
In the next few days Phiniques and Wood Holders will be available on the website. Divers should be going up by Monday the latest. We are also working on a few new tank designs. Finally color tanks will be in stock again on Monday.

Just wish that they weren't so expensive. Is there anywhere that you can get replacement tanks for the phiniac tanks?
To be fair, expensive is a frame of mind. What you are buying when you get a phiniac tank is a stronger, tougher more rugged tank then you will find anywhere else. You'll have a tough time breaking a phiniac, so thusly you are purchasing a tank that could very well last the rest of your life. Every Phiniac tank is handcrafted from start to finish. Cut, fire polished, annealed, sandblasted, painted then baked! The process takes up a lot of time and resources but does produce a high quality tank.
Not directly no, but I was sure you would. Rest assured, my reviews come from a place of absolute honesty and belief (or lack there of) in the products and companies I review. Phiniac does and most likely will stand as the number one tank I recommend to others.
