of course it will work. Its still a carto in the tank. Just that the tank is a little more fancy than most. Here is a pic of my DCT tank on an ego batt. I use the setup just fine. But just like rob said, thier tanks can get fancy... so why put it on a ego bat.. put it on a fancy mod to complete the ensemble.

Thanks much for the replies. I was thinking about buying a Phiniac as a gift for a friend who has several eGo batteries, and will be reluctant to replace them. She loves the Vision eGo cartomizer, but her recent purchase cracked, so I was looking for something sturdier. I also liked the look of the sandblasting. But you may be right about the tank not really suiting the eGo. Maybe I'll just buy her a few more Vision cartomizers. Thanks again!

Yikes, i wouldn't have to refill for a long while. I also thank you for the pic as i am looking and learning about other possible options to fit my KGO batteries. Just bought a couple e-turbo clearomizers for my wife. Some extra capacity, easy to fill, doesn't leak and less i have to help her. The ohm rating is not enough for me. Currently using boge lr 2 ohm and like them. Not sure i would like the item pictured. Not as small to carry in my pocket.

Oh, and a few thoughts from experience:

Putting the Phiniac tank on top of my ego batt tends to make it top-heavy. If you don't have some sort of caddy to hold your PVs upright, while you -can- balance it on end, you might want to consider either picking up a caddy or a piece of styrofoam that you can use as one, or lay it down on its side when it's not in use. While it's highly unlikely that the tank will break (it is Pyrex, after all -- and I dropped mine on the kitchen floor one evening, without a single crack, chip, or even scuff on the surface), I have experienced it falling over, then rolling off of whatever surface I have it on (generally my bedside table).

This is primarily why my Phiniac tends to live on my Lavatube. :)

Thanks, WSeyller. Your point about the top-heavy weight of the Phiniac atop the eGo is well-taken. Washvap, you point out exactly why I might have to get a mod to go with the Phiniac, instead of forcing the tank onto too small a battery. Ladypixel, thanks so much for your sandblasted tank--they're beautiful, no doubt about it. I'm sure you're right, it seems like the Phiniac seems better suited to a mod.

Everyone here has been very helpful--these are the kinds of insightful responses I'd hoped to get. Thanks again!
