The men who served under General Patton did without a lot. They endured malnutrition, lack of supporting fire, inadequate clothing and arms in addition to sleep deprivation in order to achieve General Patton's goals: to defeat the Wehrmacht.

I don't mind talking about how to cure a runny nose or phlegm problem from vaping, but let's leave General Patton and his loyal troops out of this.

Lol.
It doesn't last long, just a tiny bit of phlegm & my nose will be runny for a while, maybe an hour.
I'm using an Inferno & a KGO switching between a carto & a clearo because I have a few different
flavors going. Also I'm new to this & it's like learning to smoke again, just with some finesse.
It's nothing too extreme.

I'm about 3 weeks in & have an analog here & there.

Cool, Old Curmudgeon...

During the first few weeks after quitting smoking and switching to vaping:

-you will get a runny nose, especially after a good round of vaping while exhaling through the nose. It goes away after a few months.

-I never had a problem with phlegm, although I smoked for 35 years before quitting and switching to vaping. I had more of a problem with phlegm while I smoked and it went away after I quit smoking.

-I know people who have smoked since WW2 (one served under Patton in artillery) and quit smoking recently. The one who served under Patton had problems with phlegm and it never stopped after he quit smoking. It's just a symptom of more serious lung damage than I have. It's was more of a nuisance to this person than a health problem.

You may have to live with the phlegm, but the runny nose will probably go away.

I had the runny nose thing going. After about 8 month of vaping 50-50 pg/vg I went to 40-60 and then to 100 vg.
At 100% vg I got the running nose real bad. I changed back to 40-60 pg/vg and it went away.
It comes back if I vape too much though. That would be nonstop for hours

Could be any kind of rasons.

Dont worry about the analog for now. That most likely will disappear very soon:toast:

That is exactly what happened to me. I thought it was the PG. I cut back on PG anyway but didn't seem to help.

Haven't yet had a runny nose or phlegm but I've only just started vaping... My old man who got me into vaping has had bad headaches but I think thats from not smoking cigarettes and his dependency on other drugs not just the nicotine. Both myself and my brother haven't had any bad side effects which is good but we haven't been smoking as long as some others... Whatever it is I'm sure will only be temporary.

Around the two week mark of vaping I had the same thing happen. I thought it was the pg so went to vg, but it didn't change. After another week or two my phlegm and runny nose stopped. I have since increased my pg to about 40% and am still having no problems.

Through reading about this, I have found that it is your lungs cleaning out after quitting smoking. There are a whole lot of people who go through this. It passes. Be happy about it. Your lungs are getting healthy again.
