Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Would love to see some pix!

Haven't started making my own coils yet but have a question for when I do. Have noticed nearly everyone seems to be shooting for 1.5ohm or less and I'm wondering why one wouldn't go for 6 or 7 wraps on the wick and shoot for 3ohm to be used at a higher voltage on something like the VMax. Seems like the extra wraps would produce more vapor much the same as a dual coil? I can see where the extra coils could suck the juice out of the wick faster than it could recover for a heavy vapor but is there a valid reason other than that?

For me, it comes down to space and power. I can easily fit a 4/5 coil in the phoenix/chalice and get about 2.2Ω. I do think this produces better vapor than a LR coil but I've been using my chalice at 3.7V on my Reo Grand so I've opted for a 3/4 coil at about 1.7Ω to get the wattage I like. Once i get a VV Grand I will more than likely go for a 4/5 wrap and dial in the desired voltage. I have not tried more wraps mainly because I'm using a 3.7V device, but also it seems like it would be a very tight fit and you would run the risk of some of the coils shorting somewhere.

Blown away by your detailed tutorial, something I forgot to mention in my previous post. :)

One of the things that impressed me was how much room there is for additional wraps in the vertical position. Perhaps putting more coils in the same space wouldn't improve the vape? At any rate it looks like one could make the coil go deeper in the well and/or higher. Realize that's touchy work getting the bends for a neat connection to the terminals.

All just speculations and curiosity at this point as with my big shaky hands it's going to be a test to get any coil completed. :) At any rate I appreciate the response.

I'm still using the coil and wick that came with my Phoenix. Gonna need to make a new one soon. SO glad I found this thread! Can't wait to make a new coil and wick with this tutorial. Going to buy some material I don't have to make it. So excited to attempt my first try at it. I'll post some pics of the experiment later tonight.

BTW, Don't Blink. Whatever you do don't Blink! (One of my ALL time favorite episodes)

Just to update, your vert coil is still workin great in my phoenix, just swapped out wick after cleaning off the coil.

On another note, i have two of the SRT from gotvapes, and was either getting too much wicking or dry hits with a horizontal coil. Decided to try your idea in the SRT.

Swapped the two screws and put in a vert coil. Then put the wick in like your tutorial just until the botyom of the wick touched the upper seal area. Stuffed the tails into the fill holes, trimmed and filled. For 3 days now it has worked great, i dd have to nudge one of the wick tails so it is lightly touching the coil but now its working perfectly.

Nice! I got 2 of those SRTs and broke the first one while trying to pull it out of the tube. I got so frustrated I haven't even taken the other one out of the box. I may have to revisit that one. I'm having a hard time visualizing your setup though. Could you post a pic of yours?

Broke out the needle file real quick this morning & opened up the hole just a tad, vastly improved draw & flavor, still has a fairly hot throat hit but not harsh like it was before. Now I'm just waiting for some nichrome to arrive from Jacobs, ordered 34ga because I use the phoenix on an ovale v8 or a vmax and they both have plenty of potential to overpower it & I want enough resistance to have a fighting chance.
