Phoenix RDA: Anyone own/Ever rebuilt one?

Just picked up this phoenix rda. for $10 I thought it would be a good one to get my foot in the door as far as dripping goes. I would like to rebuild it (getting some silica and kanthol tomorrow). Seeing as how its relatively small, I was wondering if this would be an impossible task?

Another question I had is about what gauge kanthol to use. I have a Vamo v5, so as you know i can go any lower than 1.2ohms. The factory coil reads 2.3ohms. Just want to try and build one and go as low as i can. Is there a chart I can use for reference in regards to gauge to ohms?

You should be able to take off another part there at the top, besides the drip tip. Then you will have room to rebuild the dripper.

@bosun, thanks a million! So the number of wraps per coil just depends on how much Kanthal I want to use?
