I have been working on it, and have got it to feed using my REO Grand. I have found an issue I need to track down. Last time I put it on the Grand I had a dead short :(

I will get back to the project this weekend. I am sure it something simple.

Here is a few photos of the hole I drilled in it. I will post more how to's when I get more time work is a killer this week.

There are a few vids on how to brake it down latter this evening I will find them and post them.

It seams to stay in the CC on the atty.

When I use one for dripping I can get about 10 drops in to the Atty CC.

I will get back to the project over the weekend and post more findings.

Can't wait to hear more about this! Is it a sloppy mess when you over squonk? Is there any leakage in to the catch cup?

I have a feeling that if this works, it'll be even more forgiving that the Chalice is to over-squonking. Since there is much more room to stuff wicking material under the coil, I would imagine it would just saturate the wick, then just be sucked back into the bottle.

I've got two of these coming tomorrow. Gonna leave one as is, but the other's gonna have a date with a drill bit.

Good and bad news...

I drilled though the pin no problem with a 1/16th bit. Washed it out, put it on my Grand and verified that it does indeed feed juice very well. Set it up with a 1.6Ω coil, tested on my Provari and it fired up nicely. Everything looked great so I put it back on the Grand and hit the button. Immediately got a melted spring. Must have had a short in there, but it fired up fine just before that on the Pro so I'm not sure what happened. I'm so close, but now I'm scared of trying it again. I suspect it just needs a new coil, but how can I make sure that even if everything reads fine on the Pro I'm not gonna blow another spring on the Grand?

Dave, Funny thing is I tested it on my Provary and it fired and read 1.8 so not sure what is going on.

It has to be occurring when the atty is placed on the REO.

I may consort with Rob on this one and see what he thinks

You can always measure the ohms between the center post and the threads- if it reads what the ohm reader reads when you stick the two probes together, then you have a problem! Mine reads about .5ohms.
