Can people who have tanks and GGTS post pics of them together? I'm dying to see what it looks like... someone was saying the newer GGTSs have caps which don't allow the tanks to sit flush.. is that true? I'm gonna be really bummed if it is.
Can you be a little more specific? What type of tank? with adapters it can sit flush, but you wont even be able to attach a tank unless you use adapter or if you remove the collector tank and leave the portion that has the connector. hope that helped a bit.

Ok, so the GGTS has changed since I owned one then... the connector is no longer flush to the top of the cap? So if I want to use any kind of tank or genesis atty (they're all flat on the bottom with a 510 connector coming out), then with a stock cap on the SS GGTS, I absolutely have to use a 901 to 510 adapter?

Does that mean the SS GGTS has a native 901 adapter now, and not a universal connector? Why the change? I thought the 4 in 1 universal top cap was great.

If I do use those adapters, which ones do I need so that the tank/genesis/whatever will actually sit flush on the top cap without any unsightly gaps?

Can someone at least post a pic of the top cap of the SS GGTS so I can see what it looks like now? I'm thinking it looks like the slim where the connector sits below the cap, which I didn't like because I couldn't use my tanks with it.

The GGTS comes with 510 standard and rethreaders for 901 and 801. Since the positive center pin is floating, you just tighten the TS to make contact with the positive post of the atty. This leaves the bottom of the atty inside the catch tank with an oring sealing at the lid. This meas that all the air flow into the atty comes through the air holes at the top of the catch tank. Now there is a control ring with oring inside that be adjusted over the holes to change the restriction of air into the tank. by using the connectors inside the catch tank, it brings the height of the atty connector up so that the bottom of what ever tank mod you are using tight up against the top lid of the catch tank. This removes the air flow through the side holes on the atty thereby forcing all the air flow through the bottom hole through the catch tank.

I hope this helped

Your question about which adapters was already answered right here....
all 510 tanks can sit on GGTS with the GGTS retheater and a 901 to 510 adapter nature. Also if the tank has external diameter from 19mm and more you can also use the CR as well

The rethreader is that little pc that comes with all ggts to use 901 or 808, then you put a 901 to 510 adapter on that and tighten the ggts down till the center pin makes contact with the adapter. The added length of these adapters will bring your connection point up to the top of the collection tank/adjustable airflow and you can connect whatever tank you want as long as you leave the actual cap off(brass part on the new stainless ggts). If you want to leave the brass cap on, then instead of using the rethreader, you will use a 510 to 901 adapter and a 901 to 510 adapter and it reaches all the way to the top of the brass cap and you can connect a tank like that, the latter way that I mentioned is pictured in the pics that parallex posted and as you can see there are no unsightly gaps. In the video that Imeo posted a couple days ago for the iatty, he shows how to do the first way I mentioned, so take a look at that, since it is a tank, it will pertain to what you are asking. In regards to pictures of the connector, there are pics all over this subforum, the cap has been like this for at least a year if I am not mistaken.

there is no need for a retheater to use 801 atomizers inq. GGTS has the 4 in 1 connector on it:)

The 4 in 1 connector still exists Nature. See my video and you will understand. See the 750 post here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/gg/183205-iatty-19.html
