*PIC REQUEST* Trying to help a fellow REOnaut get their mod up and running

Good Evening All!

I have a quick request that I will pull down once it has been satisfied, I need a side by side picture of the firing pins out of a Reo Grand and Reo Mini 2.1

He will be ordering the correct part from Rob but to get him back into bottom feeding bliss I would like to help him out by either modifying Reo Grand firing pin or fashioning one out of some brass shim I have used before with success. Not having owned a Mini I do not know the size difference between the two.

It's good to see one Reonaut trying to help another. I can offer no assistance. I would send my REO to Robert for that kind of repair. I would replace a spring but not much else. Best of luck to you and your friend.

Its exactly like a grand positive contact just shorter make the bend at roughly .84

We are all lucky to have YOU around and I was able to successfully create a temporary fix using a .010 brass shim and creating the bend as redeyedancer so graciously informed me. Thank you all, feel free to close/archive this thread or do as you please!
