I have had my eye on a Black Mini w/ blue LED since I started looking at Provari in general. I ended up with a silver / red mini and was very happy. Lo and behold right there on Craigslist 1.6 miles from my house. Pre-loved Black mini w/ Blue LED in a carbon fiber jwrap and an extra battery cap for $160.

Tried it, loved it, paid the man. Now it's mine.

Going to leave the wrap on for a little bit and see if I like it. If not it comes off.

(UPDATE): i took the wrap off. Just seemed a bit cheesy to me, but I've never been a fan of fake carbon fiber.

Thanks, I'm gonna look into it, it fits well.

it's the nicest tank I own. Blows the cirrus vape tank out of the water. Apparently the guy heat treats the glass twice so all the edges are super smooth. I was impressed when I broke it down.

It's an ECD tank. I had never heard of them but I picked it up at a brand new shop in Santa Monica Home - FIX Vapor - that just opened up. It's double heat treated pyrex, cost me $40. Now I want one in black to match my new Black Mini :)

Very nice mini and a nice price. I didn't see the wrap but I have the same trouble as you... they look cheap to me. Now if I had a new Vape store like fixvapor close by I would really be in big financial trouble. All I have here in St. George, UT is a head shop that sells some Vapage EGO twist kind of stuff.

I keep reading post like yours that say Oh - I just found this miraculous deal hear or eBay. I keep looking on eBay nothing exciting so far and the classified on ECF has a bunch of stuff that interest me and I would like to have. The problem with the classifieds is most of the item that have caught my eye the sellers think their items are gold plated or something. It is one of the few places to find a Provari that the sellers want more than a new one from ProVape - Ugh!

Anyway now all you have to do is figure out which Mini to use when, just one problem after another. ;)

thats the beauty of LA, vape shops and vapers everywhere. I just got lucky I think, I don't see too many people selling their Provaris. Every other mod, but not the provi's. The guy I bought it from says he's hooked on mechanicals and he simply stopped using it. His loss, my gain...

badexec,

I grew up in the Valley and fished the Santa Monica Pier in my teen years.

I do miss the convenience of having everything you can think of within a thirty minute drive but I don't miss the agony of the thirty minute drive... too many people in LA for me any more.

However I never intended to end up in a small town that is 150 miles from the nearest town of any size. They do have some Vape shops in Vegas but the 150 mile drive has put me off. But I want an RBA (a good one) but I hate buying something like that on the WEB. I am a touchy feely kind of guy which probable explains why it took me so long to decide to buy a ProVari. But all the claims in this thread convinced me to give it a try - sure glad I did.

Yeah, I have a buddy on the east coast that is in the same boat. He's buying a lot of stuff online and figuring out quickly that a lot of it is crap. These shops are great! I think I want to open one.

Gee, if your friend had PMed me I could have told him all the "crap" not to buy from personal experience.

As far as you opening your own Vape store why don't you just hire a kid to run a candy story for you. :D

I also found a used Black/Blue Mini on Craigslist in El Lay.

Got the mini, 2 crappy batteries, a crappy charger, a Protank 2, and some juice for $150!

My first (only) Provari. I love it!!!
