An all around mod for that price that is my daily goto over any other mod is going to be the Smoant Naboo. I use it daily without fail. Great mod that you can do about anything with. Has everything you need and a fast ramp up time.

I've been running this one daily since they came out around late September. No issues and decent battery life as well.

Picking a box mod
hi ,

New to vaping done quite a lot of research struggling find best battery , I’m looking for something I’m able to sub-ohm on and mouth to lung as well is this possible to do both with two different tanks?

You mean you are looking for suggestions for what MOD, batteries, and tanks? Basically the whole lot?

I don't know if my suggestion will appeal to yah, but as for someone new to vaping, I think you're better grabbing something easy to use and grow from there. Something like the Aegis mini kit or the OBS cube kit. Those are good for new to vaping as it eliminates the hassle of learning, deciding and getting good battery. That you should research yourself. I don't know what others think, but starting with two hands full might be too much for a new vaper.

I'm assuming you're not asking about "batteries" per se, but battery devices?

You can use nearly any regulated (variable wattage) mod with either a MTL or DTL subohm tank, as long as the mod/batteries is capable of the wattage requirements of the sub-ohm coils. DTL sub-ohm tanks/coils tend to require higher wattages (over 40 watts or more) than do MTL tanks/coils (10 - 20 watts). Sub-ohm tanks/coils tend to consume more e-liquid and drain batteries faster as a consequence; they also require less nicotine and make larger volumes of vapor.

Tanks tend to do better at either MTL or DTL. There are not many tanks which can do both equally well. So your first order of business is to decide which style of tank best suits your expectations.

Concerning mods, after deciding how much power you'll need depending upon the type of tank, is whether to get one with an internal battery or one that uses external batteries. Both types have their pluses and minus's.

The previously recommended Geekvape Aegis Mini starter kit might be right up your alley. I have one. The mod is an internal battery 80 watt mod. The Cerberus tank included in the kit is a DTL subohm tank. However, you could probably close off the air control to almost closed off to get a MTL draw, and turn your wattage down to around 25 watts (recommended coil wattage is around 40 watts) for a decent low wattage MTL vape.

Should you decide to go all the way MTL, the Innokin Kroma and Zenith tank is very popular. The Zenith tank is strictly a MTL tank. You could also buy the Aegis Mini and Zenith tank separately. The choice is yours to make.

I agree with the others, maybe an internal battery mod is the best way forward if you don’t have battery knowledge and charger. Remove that part from the equation to simplify things and get an easier start. The Geekvape Aegis mini is a good mod and for mtl the zenith tank seems to be popular with that crowd. Get coils as well and the all you’ll need is some juice and your ready to go. Good luck to you and spend some time here reading and researching. Before long you’ll have all the knowledge to make an informed decision on what gear you need for a vape that you prefer.

I just need recommendation willing to spend up to £50

There's lots of mods that fit your specs. A tank that does MTL and DTL well is not as easy to find.

Coppervape Skyline (or its clones) is versatile enough to vape really well in DTL or MTL mode. You do have to change the airflow adapter to modify the draw. That's only the insertion of a small airflow adapter part when you coil it the first time. It slides right into the air port.

Skyline has become the successor to the Kayfun v2 for me (and I've bought many RTA's in search of the one that replaces it). It holds 4ml juice, has the adapters to go from full blown DTL down to tight MTL and everywhere in between. Flavor is great, filling is easy, air flow is infinitely adjustable, draw is good, and it doesn't leak even with high PG juices.

The clone is under $20.
