I'm just getting into DIY and after just trying to add some flavoring to some of my own e-liquids I know this will provide me with some awesome juices and also some miserable failures, lol.

That being said I am going to be using Stevia for my sweetener. Is there a way to determine if it is the clear (I hear generally considered better as it imparts no taste) or the brown stevia without actually being able to see the liquid?

i.e. - I know not to buy lorann's oils that actually contain lemon oil etc.

Is there something in the ingredients of Stevia extract, or something about the process it says it was collected by that can lead me to buy the proper kind of stevia?

**edit - the reason I ask is that my local nutrition store sells 3 different kinds of Stevia, but the people behind the desk are absolutely clueless as to what it looks like inside the dark bottles. Not to mention a bit judgemental about helping me find something for vaping.

Thanks for the input folks!

even the clear stevia can be bad, i posted a while back about stevia and i would reccomend using one of the other sweeteners, no matter how much or little i used and no matter the flavor i used with it they allways turned out bad, and left somthin horrible in my attys, if u figure out a good one let me know lol, have a good day!-)

I'm really similar. I'm starting to let my taste preferences wander with my juice and I've drifted towards sweets like you. I am not at all a dessert or sweets person and with my juices I like them REALLY sweet.

I just picked up some Stevia and will be doing some DIY a bit later. I'll post back with my results.

I got my sweetener from Ms T's...not bad. Have liquid Stevia winging here via Amazon, so the comparison will be interesting!
