New to DIY and been researching sweeteners ( note: all of this info. is with respect to studies that do NOT include vaping as a part of the research).

Started to look into Stevia and this is what I've found so far:

Sweetleaf brand has a few versions this one has two chemicals in the ingredients:

SteviaClear™Liquid
Instead of adding sugar or artificial sweetener to your beverages or food, use SteviaClear™ Liquid Stevia all-natural dietary supplement. SteviaClear™ Liquid Stevia contains an intensely sweet extract from Stevia leaves that is 250 to 300 times sweeter than sugar – yet has no calories, carbohydrates nor bitter aftertaste. SteviaClear™ Liquid Stevia is safe for diabetics and hypoglycemics.

  • No alcohol
  • No glycerine
  • Most concentrated liquid on the market!

    ngredients:
Purified Water, pure Stevia leaf extract standardized to a minimum of 90% Steviosides including 40% Rebaudioside A, Grapefruit Seed Extract.
I find the addition of GSE a bit troubling so I looked this up as well:
Grapefruit can have a number of interactions with certain drugs, increasing the potency of many compounds,[38] including warfarin (coumadin).[39] Grapefruit has components that inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme in the intestine.[38] Thus, it is this effect that increases the rate of absorption of several drugs.[40] There are concerns about the safety of ingesting synthetic preservatives found in grapefruit seed extract.[7]

I think this one might be for me as it's ONLY Stevia and water, I try to go 100% VG so the water would not be a problem.

Health effects

Main article: Stevia#Health_and_safety
A 1985 study reporting that steviol may be a mutagen[7] has been criticized on procedural grounds that the data were mishandled in such a way that even distilled water would appear mutagenic.[8] More recent studies appear to establish the safety of steviol and its glycosides. In 2006, the World Health Organization (WHO) performed a thorough evaluation of recent experimental studies of stevia extracts conducted on animals and humans, and concluded that “stevioside and rebaudioside A are not genotoxic in vitro or in vivo and that the genotoxicity of steviol and some of its oxidative derivatives in vitro is not expressed in vivo.”[9] The report also found no evidence of carcinogenic activity. The report also suggested the possibility of health benefits, in that “stevioside has shown some evidence of pharmacological effects in patients with hypertension or with type-2 diabetes”,[9] but concluded that further study was required to determine proper dosage.
The European Food Safety Authority evaluated the safety of steviol glycosides, extracted from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni plant, as sweetener and expressed its opinion on 10 March 2010. The authority concluded an Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) for steviol glycosides, expressed as steviol equivalents, of 4 mg/kg bodyweight/day.[10]

It is unknown how much of the grapefruit extract will be absorbed when vaping. Despite the small amount that is being inhaled I caution anyone who takes certain drugs to stay away from the brand that contains it.

The heart drug dronedarone, or Multaq, for instance, has a very high risk of interaction when taken with grapefruit, which may cause a rare form of ventricular tachycardia or rapid heart rhythm, the researchers found.
Mixing the prescription painkiller oxycodone with grapefruit can cause serious breathing problems, and adding the fruit to a dose of the popular statin simvastatin, or Zocor, can lead to rhabdomyolysis, a breakdown of muscle fibers that can lead to kidney damage.

I think it would be best to stick with sucralose and ethyl maltol as sweeteners imho.
