Picky Boyfriend

I quit smoking and started vaping over nine months ago. My boyfriend tried it but didn't stick with it. I have found my favorite supplier and juices and I'm content. Now he wants to try vaping again, but he says my juices taste like sweaty gym socks and dirty underwear. Yes, taste is certainly subjective. He seems to have a sensitivity to PG, so his juice must be 100% VG. Also, he says he wants something that tastes like a cigarette (in other words, burning paper and plant leaves).

I haven't tried a whole lot of vendors, but do any of you folks have suggestions for a good VG juice that might satisfy my boyfriend's cravings for cigarettes? Thanks a bunch.

Good Prophets has a very nice consistency VG juice, I use menthol, so I can't comment on the regular tobacco flavors,hopefully someone will jump in here, HTH

I would say AVE.. maybe Blend 4 or Havana Gold... never tried Gamel... but AVE is a good choice

I use VG too, i really like AVE gorilla juice and massive chocolate mint -- mmmmm. Also hear Virgin Vapor is great for 100% VG juice. Vaperite is another that comes to mind that sells 100% VG juice (im pretty sure).

Virginvapor doesn't have tobacco's. Vaperite, yes I believe they sell all VG and their tobaccos are really good.

Let's see, I believe he said the first two are the dirty gym socks, and maybe Havana Gold is the dirty underwear. And he thinks Boba's Bounty is too sweet. You see what I'm dealing with.

Maybe I'll order some Blend4 and see what description he comes up with.

Well, obviously his taste buds are messed up, so I think you should get some unflavored 100VG juice, soak some dirty gym socks and dirty underwear in it, and have him try that. His tastebuds will either flip it over and present him with a wonderful sensation, or he'll have a more accurate basis of comparison for gym sock & underwear flavored juice. Either way, it's a win.

I went through the same thing with my husband. Joke's on him, he's been almost 4 months without an analog. If he's expressed an interest I say keep at it. It might eventually stick. Funny thing is, after trying and failing at finding an analog tasting juice he settled on cherry.

I tried finding a good tobacco flavored liquid but like the above settled on the fruity flavors like strawberry. My advice is to just have him try out other flavors besides pure tobacco, you never know what he might settle on.

What's hysterical about people hunting for juices that taste like cigarettes is that most smokers don't even know what a cigarette really tastes like unless they go days in between smokes. Let's face it, once we were addicted, we weren't smoking for flavor anyway.

I did smoke for flavor...I know...ewwwww...it took me months to blend my own mix as a replacement. I never wanted to quit smoking, just wanted to quit killing the people I love. Try Mom and Pop Vapor Shop Tobacco haze (they use Tobacco absolute for the base, not a nut flavoring mix like most). I would just get the 20$ sampler from them, use code ECFROCKS for 15% off and try 6 different tobaccos. RY0 from there is good, almost no sweetness to it, and probably the american blend. Just let them know you need it in all VG and they will take care of you.


As a last suggestion, take an e2 (ceramic carto) and fill with VG. chain vape the crap out of it untill the coil builds up a bit of burnt vg on it. Fill with any tobacco juice and let him try it. Sometimes the burnt VG really adds to the "Analog-ish" taste.
