If he wants to quit smoking, I'd just encourage him to keep using the e cig as much as he can, and if he has to smoke, go for it. For so many of us, vaping has won out over cigarettes, but not always within a day or a week. vaping can definitely replace the physical need for nicotine, and the habitual, hand-to-mouth activity. Maybe he'll get more comfortable with the inhale experience of vaping with a little more time. Good luck with it!

Hey Skater welcome aboard. I'm one that it took me 6 months to fully transition over from tobacco to ecigs. I smoked tobacco for more than 52 years. Vaped for around 2.5 years. Now. . .I do neither. Nor do I miss either. He has to really want too. . .then, it's just a matter of time if he keeps at it. Good Luck with his quits. JMHO

Cheers,

I think you are gunna need to make a larger investment into what will work

I suggest a ego spinner and an aero tank from kanger maybey two sets of each
The areo tank from kanger has an adjustable airflow and in opinion it is one of the greater innovations in ecigs

Also buy plenty of heads maybe ten I suggest getting those online cause you can find them for about a dollar or so each. I remember when I first started out I burnt a couple of my Vivi nova wicks in a stupid fasion

and then take him to your local vape shop try a couple of flavors just till he finds three he likes

I think that's what should work if anything and if not you will get some nice toys for your collection

A vision spinner and pro tank mini 2, got me of the very same day i got my gear.
Guess i was lucky or very determinated to quit. ^^

But he probably need a higher nicotine level to feel the throat hit!
I'm at 24mg and the TH is almost stronger than the ciggs, and i love it!

More PG also gives more TH, or more VG helps to get the "filling up the lungs" feeling.

I second the protank 2 mini. Seems like its got a bit tighter of a draw than others. I've got a regular protank 2 and several other clearomizers and use the protank 2 mini almost exclusively. If you start rebuilding the coils in them you will notice the type and amount of wicking in them also affects the draw.

Ah! thank you for the quick responses! No, he really is trying to quit. He just wants the drag to feel more like a cigarette I guess? He hasn't has a cigarette for the past couple of days, but he comments on how the inhale doesn't feel the same. I was wondering if there was anything to help that.

Hello and Welcome!!!

I would get him a decent set up like an innokin MVP2.(You can get one for about $38-$40) It gives a nice powerful hit. It also comes with a iClear 30 tank which is nice and strong and produces a ton of vapor. Also as someone else suggested a juice with NET (naturally extracted tobacco). There is a really good one from Nicoticket called H1N1 (aka The Virus). I think it was one of the top rated tobacco juices on ECF 2013.

That should make it much easier to quit.

My best friend resisted forever for the same reason. That setup and juice did it for her.

Good Luck!!!
