Wow! The Woodvil on the end looks just like the famous Cocobolo with what looks like an "owl" in the grain! Don't even tell me that it is or I will be forever jealous of you!
Ok Rudy, I won't tell ya cuz frankly I don't know BUT if anyone does know I would love to know as well. I have a Brass RM2 coming for it and Mole Hill Mountain is making a Cocobolo drip tip for it. He saw it and believes it to be. Doug and Tammie from Mole Hill Mountain are awesome people. I do have a Zebrawood Drip tip for the Mini Woodvil coming as well. So excited!!Wow! If it is cocobolo (which would be my first guess), it has been taken care of very well and not exposed to very much light. My cocobolo's darkened and lost some of the patterns in the wood due do the oils in my hands and not using UV protection. (Cocobolo is my favorite wood hands down, even after it darkens...reminds me of good leather, just gets better with a little bit of worn patina) I can say it is special for sure, the oval squonk hole means it was from one of the earlier runs.
That zebra mini is also a beauty!

I am in total agreement with you that Cocobolo is special. What I would do to get my hands on one!! ( can't mention what I would do here without being censored)
