I think it would be a good idea if we could all get some sort of picture collection of atomisers labelled which brand/ Generic and of which supplier.

That would give us all an idea which branded atomiser is used in which Generic if there is one. This really only applies to pen styles and cigars but it could also apply to others.
The reason I suggest this. Some of us including myself bang on about how different and better the atomiser is on branded name against atomiser on a Generic.
So the perfect Generic. So who sells the Generic with a branded type atomiser?
The Janty and sedansa are identical . The end where battery screws in they have four air intake holes.
Some Generics I have tried only have one which that then explains that easy draw with branded name.
So basically is there a Generic type pen style with four intake holes out there. Or so the element inside is bigger than Generic

Branded models also seem to have a more powered battery.
Is there a Generic out there with a more powered battery than the usual That then would give us a true Generic copy.

Sounds liek a good idea- as I am often quite confused abotu which models are which- The only one I really know what it is is the 901- all the other model numbers can be quite confusing. This should probably be a sticky post so that newcomers (and some of us older posters) can better understand which models are which

Nazareth it's more penn styles that seemed to have different atomisers and cigars. Example the two branded pens which I have the atomiser is identical and different to the
Generic ones.-branded ones are much bigger.
The Generic one in the pen is more like 901 smaller type.
The sedansa cigar atomiser is bigger than the Generic cigar.
The Generic cigar is the size more like the Generic pen style.
So if we could find a Generic pen style or cigar with branded type atomiser this would give people the chance to experience branded experience at a low-cost.
And when people say they prefer Generics to branded because they can't afford to keep spending money out and are happy to keep shelling out for cheap spare parts this would be such a bonus to us all.
But we just have to find out which brand and Generic is the same. If there is one out there?

The 901 which I have from three suppliers all seem the same.
But the latest 901b Black .which I have just bought seems to be slightly but slightly bigger and slightly shaped is slightly different.
But I find this new 901b to smoke a lot better than my other white ones whether this is a coincidence I don't know.
But the draw on this one seems easier than my other 901s. But it is a new cartridge mouthpiece type and the mouthpiece it does make a difference. I've tried this on branded pen to your copy pen. And they do produce different draw.

Ned, you keep referring to Branded without listing names ... what main branded versions are you looking for generic couterparts for?

my generic pens fit: njoy, crown7, epuffer, smartfixx, and pretty sure gamucci as well ... and I think my batteries fit janty classics ...

The actual atomiser which I am personally after is theJanty or sedansa atomiser I have both these models and atomiser is identical. These will work with cheaper
Generic battery but are not as lively but work better than your usual Generic atomiser with 1 intake hole.

TheJanty and sedansa have 4 intake holes and I think that's the secret with the easy draw.

I have not tried it the njoy as yet. So I don't know about that one so if the njoy atomiser has 1 intake hole that explains more why suppliers say you can interchange but I'm after a
Generic 4 hole atomiser.

You tried what on a branded pen to your copy pen? Not sure I understand this statement.

The matte white and black DSE901 atomizers are a spitting image of each other. I use both, sometimes mix and match between white/black or a combo style, and they both smoke the exact same. No 2 atomizers ever smoke the same in my opinion. If I had 5 atomizers sitting in front of me (same model #, branded/non branded, it doesn't really matter) and I smoked each one, I would probably be able to tell slight differences/subtleties from each atomizer.

just my $.02 cents ... lol ... take it for what its worth. :D

Ned, can you get us a close up of what you are talking about?

This is not really about 901 but the atomiser which I mentioned before on pens styles.
As you can see the picture on the left is theJanty with four intake holes.
The
Generic on the right which normally has one. This particular one you can't really see the hole very well.
In plain English what I am trying to say. Does anybody do Generic type with four intake holes. Because that's what I am after.

its gonna start getting more confusing too, i've seen a few chinese sellers cashing in on the 901 fame and labeling their non 901 devices as such. there is also now a "dse801". also the original rn4075 penstyle comes in a number of guises. glad i got in on this when i did. i'ld hate to be green.

ned i've been dreaming for ages to be able to run up a chart on the compatibilty of the devices out there. hopefully it will come to fruition by way of this forum. thanks for that list cashmere..noted (was that list all for the pen-style or the 901 also?)

First and Foremost, Ned, THANKS for those pictures. I completely see what you are talking about now, and I thank you for taking the time to take those. Looking at my own Penstyle atomizers, they only have 1 hole. But you have to remember, Janty atomizers are out of Janty's own plant (pretty sure) Generics like my own, come from the same manufacturing plant as NJOY, etc... so that is why they are a spitting image. Gonna have to do more research on my part .... Thanks again! :)

dc2k08 -- that was just a quick list on Penstyles. DSE901's are hard because its been copied over, and over, and over again ... and there aren't many actual "branded" DSE901's ... soooo ... that kind of leaves the list pretty short.

Interesting, I have a generic looking penstyle, that has 4 holes. (Can't for life of me remember where I got this, but was not expensive) Also have Crown 7 it has 2 holes.
I have generic replacement atomizers for penstyle coming from heaven gifts. Wonder how many holes they will have. Learning something new everyday here.
