Can't put this thing down. Tinfoil ended up being what i used in my charger to get positive contacts. As soon as i can i am gonna pick up some small earth magnets. Gotta say this thing hits like a champ. This is my first time using a cartomizer. I like it.

I prefilled the empty cartomizer before using it. Is this necessary with a REO? Or can i just feed it with my bottle from the REO itself initially? Seems like cartomizers are a pain to fill without whipping out my syringe. Though the condom method looks alot easier then dripping right into it.

Also squonking doesn't seem so bad. Pull dry and listen for the gurgle, one more good dry pull, then fire it. Hits like a champ.

Lots of carto users have had good success with juicing a new carto directly from the Reo. You just squonk the bottle and draw on it gently till you hear 3 or 4 good gurgles, to start. I recommend waiting several minutes before hitting the fire button so the juice has time to fully soak in to the batting material closest to the coil to prevent scorching. The batting material at the very top of the carto doesn't have to look wet, although that doesn't hurt, either. The main concern is that the juice is surrounding the coil. Adding too much juice to a carto can cause the filler to swell, restricting airflow through the center tube. With a little practice and trial & error, you'll be off to the races. Enjoy.

On a REO, a cartomizer is just an atomizer with a buffer. There is no need to prefill, the juice will reach the coil from the bottom in the first or second squonk.

I never prefill just don't forget to sqounk them a little more often in the beginning

Welcome to town. I find myself using cartos on my Grand almost exclusively. It just doesn't get any better for a carto user than on a Reo. I say it all the time; on a Reo, cartos have a habit of lasting forever, to the point where I usually get bored of the juice flavour before the carto dies!
