That looks great. What the heck drip tip is that? I looked quickly and it looked like a jelly bean.

I don't know what it's called, I got it from my B&M. I have an unreasonable fear of knocking my teeth out with a metal tip...

I whittled down the first stop marker so it would fit all the way in the Heron.

Posting this over here for the GP family. The luxe mods dripper. It's pretty much the same design as the Senio, with a single negative pole (looks like I'll have to try a mesh build in it), and a single 1.2mm air hole, but with a reduced chamber in the cap.

Clean and simple, with no logos or anything to distract the eye.

Loving it.

With two Paps X's in the family and a third plus a V3 Lux on the way I think it's safe to say I've got the bug.

Went to plate recently. Here are a couple teaser pics. They'll have to do until I get my existing shined up for one big updated family shot.

Up until today, I've only had the Heron on my X. I wanted to see what the Magma would look like on it and see how it hit. Until today, I've only used the Magma on my Golden Army Panzer. My worst fear has come to pass. Using the Magma, The hit difference from the Panzer to the X was not subtle to say the least. Same battery. Let alone being the smoothest button this young vapor has ever pushed, the X just feels/looks pro status.

Did I say enough to be a lock for a Ti version?

Anyway, pics are nothing I'm sure you haven't seen a 1000x before, but I'm just so dang happy!

Thank you, you've inspired me! I just purchased a silver plating kit from Amazon and I'm taking inventory of all of the contacts and springs that I want to plate. I bought a spare brass GPin and later had regrets about not getting the LUX version, so I think this will be the first thing that I try. I was also flirting with getting a gold plating kit, but I'll take it one step at a time.

Kudos, Man that's some DIY dedication.

When I say "When to plate" there is a precious metals plating Co I use for work occasionally. Kinda snuck them in on a job where we were under on the shop minimum :D

I'm not sure on the exact plating thickness but there is not a lot of room on the GPin body and collar. I defiantly would not go more than ~ 300 micro inches for external GPin parts.

On the bottom contact there is plenty of room.

Yeah gold (or gold alloys) are kinda tricky; from what I understand your gonna have to flash with nickle first on SS parts.

Sounds like a fun project :thumb:

MY mods came  but now I'm short on atty's . So I'm offing my ELA to get somethings that'll compliment my new GP additions.
