Hi all, just breaking in my new account. Been lurking since I started vaping back in sept.
Just got my new Z2 genesis atty in the mail today, completing my z2 mech/hybrid. Wasn't sure if gennys were for me so I started out with an rsst using cotton. Loved it so much I decided to get the zatty. I've got it setup now with a 1.2 ohm microcoil with cotton attached to a steel mesh wick and it is wicking really well!

Yes, why yes it is. I'm afraid where this is heading, folks :p I also had a thing for Gillian Anderson who played Special Agent Dana Scully on tv, have the retraining orders to prove it.

Just my cheap Vamo V5 with a protank 2.
I rewicked with a nano coil and cotton.
Running 1.8 ohm and around 12 watts.
Got my DIY Dr. McGillicuddy's juice flowing thru it.

Just because it's not a high end mod doesn't mean it won't work. Don't be ashamed of what you have!

My little setup after a couple months. Haven't used the Pisces Clone and RDA clone since I don't have batteries yet, but have used the IGO clone on the MVP.

Prob won't use the iClear 30 after the current coil is out since I like the Protank 2 more. And I think the atomizers for the ego-CC currently cost too much to use after this one is out.

Are those clones?

My girlfriend vsummer1 can explain it better but my take on it is that 'vela owners are allowed up to 3 spares off the same serial # so whenever you see an asterick by the number that means it was a spare, I believe. Not sure since I have never owned one new or scond-hand.

My post was not meant to be insulting in the case that they are genuine. I just found odd that they have the same serial number and it's why I asked.

As an owner of a Caravela you can buy spare parts from Pedro. Many will buy enough spare parts to make multiple mods as u can see in his picture, all r number 345. If u look closely though u will see an asterisk after the numerals 345*. That asterisk denotes these r the spares of originally serialized Caravela number 345.

Sorry for repeating what RHP just said above...

Perhaps Bill Clinton would have phrased it a little different. It just struck the funny bone. No worries, your good.

He won the Gold medal in the verbal gymnastics games, that's for sure. Clinton I mean, not our friend bdpf  For some reason you just reminded me of a bad joke which I am going to probably get in trouble for, here goes folks!

What is better than winning a gold medal at the International Paralympics? Having legs.

1. do clones of high end mods have the similar feel as an aga t2 or an agi?
never used one so i wouldn't know....started my journey with an ego T, then a vamo, evic, svd, then poldiacs and the rest....
2. are vela switches questionable quality? is that why so many people replace them with paps switches?
got to fire one today and was not so impressed with the original switch....different world with a paps switch....???

I'd like to know that if ya'll had the ability to rent a brand spankin' new 'Vela for a week, would ya still want to buy it if it was prohibitively expensive on the second-hand market?

My advice to folks who have never held an iHybrid, GG, 'vela, or any quality hard to find tube-style mechanical - Buy a GP Paps SS (or LUX) because it's affordable and the version 2.5 switch is stunning.

It's touch sensative yet can sit upright without locking because of the tiny grooves that raise it ever so slightly from the table (sorta like how the iHybrids switch works) but it still has a locking ring so it is pocket friendly, too.

ETA: I'm dripping right now because I am dangerously low on my ADV, not even enough to fill a tank. And my vendor has disappeared (even from ECF) for some reason so life sucks right now in Amish country, folks. Atleast until I find myself a new ADV.

Worse case scenereo, I'll just vape unflavored Nic.
