This is a repost of images from a thread I started when I first received my Chibi tanks, but since most probably missed them:

What do you think of the Shine? I couldn't find any reviews on it...

The Shine, as I've mentioned a few times in various posts, is a very "folk art" type mod in my opinion. Bill from Parkes is very up front about the fact that these are straight handmade, even hand painted, so it's not for people that are particular about "beauty marks" on the mod. Then again, it's not priced in the same segment as boutique mods like the GG, moderately expensive mods like the Prodigy, Silver Bullet, or even the low-end mods like the Maxi Roughstack.

With that said, during the limited time I've had it, it is performing wonderfully. It has a robust on/off switch so I don't have to worry about pocketing it. While on that topic, I also like that since the Shine has it's own small manufacturing marks on it already, I'd rather throw it in my pocket with keys/coins/etc. that I'd worry would scratch the perfect finish of my Prodigy. The button, while not offering a tactile click, must be fully depressed to fire the batteries, so it's not prone to misfires. With the same batteries for comparison, the vape is just as good as my 3x more expensive Prodigy.

If I were to have everything, I'd wish that the diameter of the body were smaller, simply because the batteries have a tendency to rattle inside. I'm particular about that, so I just wrap a rubber band around the battery before popping it in & it's solid.

For $25, I really couldn't ask for more. It's like an old favorite shirt, you wouldn't wear it to dinner, but damned if it wasn't comfortable & reliable for relaxing.

Thank you for taking the time to write that excellent reply!!!

Here is my stuff, I am currently using the Silver Bullet on 18650 Ultra Fires Batteries I am still using a variety of flavors, but I just found some Menthol from Ejuice USA that kicks ...., and I like 555 surprisingly. and Super Strawberry from Wicked Vapor My 555 is from Wicked Vapor also. Not using the Liquinator tank anymore it crapped out on me leaking everywhere. I have a new Tank on the way from Madvapes.

This is my current setup: My silver bullet is my primary and the egos don't really get used all that much. The one on the far left only gets used with that attie as it will not work on any of the others and the juice only vapes decently on it. I use most of the cartomizers on my silver bullet with different battery configurations for different voltage vaping.

Thanks Washvap! True that is! The trio was awful in comparison!

No problem, just about everything is better then the TRIO. I hated that thing when I bought it. So much so, that I quit vaping and went back to smoking for a few years. Glad I did though, when I started again. There is so many choices that are MUCH better.
