Wow, those boxes are just great. Did you make them yourself? If not, where did you buy them?

The red lavatube looks nice - hope, we can get it in Germany soon.
a lavatube and a can of spray paint and you can have any color you like with the correct prep work. LOL. :D

It's all your fault....

Lastnight my SGV3 screwed down too tight and shorted out the connector through the insulator.

My negative spring melted into a flat disk. More proof that unprotected batteries are not a good idea.

Even though I still use them:evil:

It's amazing how much energy two 18650 batteries in parallel can produce!

Are you sure those batteries are safe to use?

Show off thead... yeah maybe, I can see how one would think that. As I stated in the beginning I was really just trying to get an idea of what was out there... a one stop shop if you will. I was very green when I started this thread and being a male I needed visuals because someone just telling me they had a bottom fed mod with 808 and a drip tip was like sitting in a foreign language class on the first day. I kept hearing the lingo and had no clue of what people were talking about. I feel it's a good starting point for a newb to see the possibilities in the flesh and read what they are so they'll become more knowlegeble about this life style. When I started I thought I wanted something that looked like a cig and tasted like one. Well... let's just say that this tread and the ECF in general helped me out a great deal in finding my personal vaping utopia.

Yep... that'll happen. Still happens to me after 4 months.

I wouldn't call it a "Setup" - These are 8 bucks apiece, they claim "500" puffs, more like 200. They last about 2 to 3 days depending on how much I "smoke" - I just don't know which re-usable ones to get, which was why I came in here. Most of the refillables are over 150 bucks! Any links to something cheaper (like below 50 bucks if that's possible) would be greatly appreciated. Usually I smoke Black and Mild cigars, those are 7 bucks for a pack of 5. These would be a great buy if they actually gave you 500 puffs. I never believed it in the first place. Right now, I'm counting each time I use it to see how many I do get, hehe. But I already feel much better, I only started last week, I used to smoke up to 10 Black and Milds in one day. I no longer have Ashes all over my computer workstation, and I don't have to carry an Ashtray around all the time. That alone is worth the 8 bucks for one of these.

These aren't exactly "cute", but there super reliable and get the job done very well for really cheap.
2xAA Box Mod with change LED
or
2xAA Box Mod with slow change LED and blue horn switch
or
2xAA Box Mod with slow change LED and green horn switch
or
2xAA Box Mod with slow change LED and red horn switch
depending on your color preference
combine with
Smok Tech Dual Coil Mega XXL 1.5 OHM Cartomizer
and you have a high powered, small and discrete unit that is highly reliable.
you can use a AA battery (rechargables to saved on cash) or for a little extra juice that will last longer go with
UltraFire LC 14500 3.6V 900mAh Protected Battery (2-Pack) EB063S - $5.63 - Affordable Batteries

and have a spare all for under $30.00

if your comfortable with soldering uou can get
510 Box Mod Kit
half the work is already done and you can have it up and running in about 10 minutes for half the cost. Pick your juice of choice and your vaping in no time.

But like CheckBit had mentioned before it kinda looks like a detonator so I wouldnt be acting all suspicious with it unless you want to get tazed or tackled. (c;

Yeah, "safe chemistry" batteries may not vent flames, but short circuits can burn stuff too. I'm actually surprised there aren't fuses in more of these things. The battery spring is expected to compress like that to break the circuit, but given that PV users are always trying to cram a slightly larger battery in there, an actual fuse would be reassuring.
