First time trying to post pics, hope it shows up. Pic is of a Apollo VV (AKA Lavatube) with a Protank re-coiled and with a cotton wick. Also between the Protank and the mod is a tank airflow controller ($3.99 available many places online) which I slightly modded by opening up the air pads. Highly recommended for anyone with a Protank, the tank airflow controller lets you adjust the amount of airflow/draw. The other pic is the mod setup in a holder/stand I made by simply drilling a 7/8" hole in a piece of wood.

eVic first version, FW 1.3, red clear candy apply powdercoat over "dimply" original tube. I think that was a Vivi clear on it, but I use an ECA from eVic since I like the wickless setup over the mess of other tanks.

What ohms are you getting with that? It never occurred to me to run a silica u wick, I've tried two separate mesh wicks and just couldn't get it to wick very well. Juice sure tastes foul when burning that way! Lol

What ohms are you getting with that? It never occurred to me to run a silica u wick, I've tried two separate mesh wicks and just couldn't get it to wick very well. Juice sure tastes foul when burning that way! Lol

It two separate silica wicks with six winds giving me about 1.5-1.7 ohms. Hits like a champ, I only use one air hole it's the stock size. I gave up on mesh wicks never had luck with them.
