just my new beater, i needed something i could bang around at work or out of the house and not have to worry about getting damaged or leaking

seriously though, why did I wait so long to get one of these? I like the two tone look, plus brushed finish, for me is more durable bc i can refinish it quickly if it gets damaged... so I'll probably do that after I figure out which tank parts I want to leave polished.

Hey guys I've got a question for rba atty users.

I've got a pro vari v2.5 with a "DID" Cobra clone on it with 400 steel wick and some 32 gauge kanthal wire, I'm wrapped the coils very nice and I've got a almost constant resistance of 1.6. What voltage (standard/ballpark) should I plan on running it at? I can't seem to decide for some reason. I know everyone is different according to taste and all, but zen or anyone what voltage would you start with? Thank you.

Kiba is right, there is no straight answer for that question, so many factors play a part. The standard answer is always... Whatever works for you. Your Provari will also error if your to high a voltage for the coil. You'll also tell if your juice tastes burnt.

That's the best part to vaping in my experience, you get to play!

Nothing fancy, Smok Magneto with AGA-T2 running a .5mm Kantal ribbon .9ohm coil on SS rope wick. Had to modify the center pin on the AGA to get it to fire. The Magneto does not have a floating center pin :glare:

How come we call them mods if we haven't modified them?
Yours is truly a mod now!

I'm going with the fact that these are all modifications to the original Joye 510/eGo design... while we personally didn't modify the device, the manufacturer modified the design...

Same applies to all other design mods, such as Empire Mods design mod of the 901 for the Empire...

While that may be true, I cannot verify that statement, I have (to date) modified every single mechanical mod I have to make them function as I feel they should. Granted, I don't have the budget for the boutique mods out there, so I buy "clones" and as most of us know.... They need the help!

I imagine what you say is true, in fact, I've always wondered why their called mods. You may have just hit the nail on the head! I for one, feel educated! Seriously... Thank you! :)
