So, after seeing all your amazing devices (truly beautiful), I'll be retiring this model and purchasing something else soon. Real soon.

Yah, mine started out requiring a pull to the side with the button, in order to get decent conductivity. Turned out there were debris inside - about 0.5mm worth, which is about how much the bottom screw should protrude. After cleaning it up and tightening the screw down well, it was much better. Still requires an even press of the button, and it's still a little stiffer than I'd like.

To get it open, use a fairly large flat-head screwdriver and padded pliers, or equivalent, to hold the button base. Make sure the padding is adequate to avoid chewing up the finish!

thanks....makes sense- looking at the inside of the switch i could see a bunch of specks of dust, dirt, metal shavings, etc.....
mine requires a pressing up and to the side as well to fire....not very nice for an otherwise beautiful mod...also, the center post in the 510 connection needs a small brass washer....it won't hold in place otherwise...another minor annoyance...

and that's why i love this forum...thanks for the ba gua advice- switch cleaned- problem solved....maybe needs a little sandpaper work as well on the threading inside but not a big deal....MUCH better....the

now i can actually enjoy the mod....i was kinda upset when i first got it...much better now......

Recent production is called "swap engraving" by Team Rampage. I know, I wanted the circular logo on SS, as well. The linear one has grown on me, though, and I have a brass one on the way from Korea, which has the circular logo now.
