Thanks. Can you believe it's only the third coil I've ever built, Because the first 2 coils shorted and the wires broke. Gotta thank all the good people on here for sharing their knowledge, giving newbies courage to jump into rbas.
Just looking to stay off stinkies and sticking with the basics. Original eGo style batt w/ EVOD style tank. Works for me just fine.

they all got lined up last night for new 500 mesh wicks, .8 ribbon coils, 2 and 3mm threaded ekowool and an overall cleaning,
left to right:

, ss ba gua 14500+k-mini+kayfun dt, noble 1 350 hybrid+titanium vaperev dt, atmomixani 69+brass upgrade kit+trident+MCV sabertooth dt, full satin poldiac 350+ matching short DID+atmomixani mini me ice ss dt, poldiac uma 650+polished ss short DID+atmomixani mini me ice brass dt, zenesis sidewinder winter camo le hybrid 350+brass contacts upgrade+310vapers PTFE dt

Here's a few pictures of my setup.
First purchase was the ego-style. Liked it, but wanted more 'control'. I then purchased the Tesla VV/VW. Really liked it better, but I wanted more 'control' (Building wick/coil), ROFL. Next purchase is the EA Mod. Lost control of power, so I purchased the Kick2. (Nice balance, OK w/o the OLED)
When I took a look back, I had a *lot* of accessories (Cartos, drip tips, spare tank parts, wire, ss mesh, etc) hanging around. I decided to pick up an organizer to keep things in *place*.
My next mod will be a Billet Box (Going to be shipped very soon).. The next (future) purchase??!!? iHybrid - The Grid LE!!
After that?!?! Who knows, ROFL!! It's addicting!

macaveli v2 hybrid....first time using 500 mesh...wicks way better than 400...changed all my genny wicks and coils this morning...
.8ribbon kanthal, 3 wraps, 0.7ohm solid wick....ben jonson's nebula 6mg...
P.S. you can see I plugged up the second wick hole with rolled mesh, tried dual coils yesterday- the atty deck has two negatives...however...the 18350 battery showed its limits fairly quickly and I didn't want to drill through the anodized aluminum top cap....

Reading over the last 10 pages of posts to this 'thread' -
perhaps we need a new discussion thread for newbies and their newbie PVs..... (with presently low budgets! ie, still trying to cut costs!)
besides or separate from this 'thread' for the 'lots more advanced' folks and their really unbelievably gorgeous setups (and their shortcut 'letter names' that leave me scratching my head) and their obviously thrown out budgets...?? !! lol

I'd like to see a 'gallery' of some sort, for available setups (batteries and tanks), preferably with a ruler next to them for size information, and a plain background. Am I dreaming? Perferably with a nicely spelled out description of the parts (ie, searchable names/vendors)... and... medium sized pictures (not huge and not tiny pics).
