This is my 'Coiling Station' setup. A white plastic coated rod from a wire basket is wrapped with wire coils, the rod is clipped to a magnification stand, the $6.21 SE MZ101B Helping Hands with Magnifying Glass from Amazon. I wrap 6 and then leave a larger loop to clip for the legs of the coil, pressing them together for a tight coil. When I need a coil, I clip it from the rest, place it over a toothpick as suggested by a friend, and I install it on my topper. The toothpick keeps the coil shaped without stretching it out. After I get a oHm reading on the coil, I removed the toothpick and put the wick through it.
