I am sure the metal is propitiatory for now but, any oxidation? Not that I have ever see it on one of your mods! Wondering though.

No, this new ceramic coating - it will never tarnish, will never need to be polished. Ever, just awesome so far.

Mine is ceramic coated tube and coated latina

I am testing the finish for him and doing photographs in different light - its like a Chameleon - changes color with the light, The depth of shine is greater also with the coating

Here is one from just after dawn

I'm going to ask in here because I'm not getting an answer in another thread - Anyone know of any US retailers that carry the Poldiac line? Or does it need to be ordered from Europe?

No U.S. that I know of,MMvapors is greek and they ship FED-EX,usually takes 3 days after its shipped

Sweet! I'm placing an order for one this weekend as my first Mech Mod, been reading nothing but rave reviews about it. Did you get from FT or somewhere in the USA? Also is that in 18650 mode?! Still looks nice and small...

Got mine from a random dude in Socal on Ebay.....$35 shipped with a free drip tip.......I LOVE it! And yes that is 18650 mode....It is super duper tiny in 18350 mode.

Pedro's new ceramic champagne coating on the left

whoah, those coatings look so good... those ones are ceramic if I remember right but I want to see the other one as well, Ti nitride? (i think?) I think Pedro had said that the champagne one would be available soon too so I may have to add a coated tube to my spare parts order, lol...... how durable would you say the coating is now that you've gotten a feel for it?

About 3 years ago I ceramic coated brake drums, disc brake rotor hubs, master cylinder, headers, linkages and misc hardware. Only issue is the cast iron master cylinder is getting some rust bleed through. Almost impossible to remove the ceramic coating w/ al-ox media in blast cabinet. Only reasonable way I've found to remove coating is w/ a grinder. If the substrate is properly toothed, ceramic coatings are remarkably tough plus they can be polished. Don't mess up though, it is a bear to correct.
