I'm looking at all these amazing set ups thinking I need to find the next step from my ego-c and vivi nova... Stupid me wanting to stay with a pass through...

This one will work as a pass through: iTaste MVP, Long-Lasting 2600 mAh Variable Voltage VV Box Mod - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer| Innokin (and has an insanely long battery life on top of it)
Here's a review.. A PBusardo Review - Innokin iTaste MVP - YouTube

Check the co-op planning subforum if you can get verified, there is another co-op starting up for them that will get you one a lot cheaper, like under $40.

That actually looks extremely interesting, and very tempting even at the regular price. Thank you very much on the recommendation, I appreciate it especially since I am pretty knew to this and have not really looked at a lot of the different options as I wouldn't really know where to start other than what I see on here or at the local store I buy everything from.

I've been lurking here since the beginning of the year, but I finally registered today and this is my first post.

At the beginning of the year I bought my first e-cig, a C2O from a local smoke shop to try out while waiting for the arrival of the 510-T kit I had ordered from Vicki at CIGNOT. I was less than impressed with the carts that come with it, but it was a first taste at an e-cig. It was actually quite impressive, months later, once I got into making my own juice and refilling carts, but the battery died quite rapidly - fell apart actually!

The 510-T (XL manual) kit arrived and it was very nice, though at the time I did not know that atomizers wore out, etc. Pure Noob, but on the right track to get to what I was looking for, and I ordered a couple of bottle of juice and some spare tanks from CIGNOT and that kept me in pretty good shape for a few months, though the 510-T tank system was leaky.

I then started looking up making my own juice, watched the YouTube videos a few people had made, and started experimenting until I found something to my taste - as a long time menthol smoker it took a bit of time to get the right taste and hit that I like, but the vapor just wasn't quite what I was looking for and I continued smoking (though admittedly less) and experimenting while looking for something better.

I then took the plunge and ordered a 1300mah battery and a Kanger T2 from Vapers Choice, and Tim was kind enough to send me an adapter so they could work together, as the 1300mah battery I had chosen was oddly enough threaded for 510 but not eGo. This was MUCH better! I had also ordered menthol crystals off Ebay and several different flavour concentrates from Wizard Labs, along with a good sized bottle of 100mg nicotine, and I found a nice supply of cheap VG at my local Wal-Mart, so I was set. I had acquired a 510 pass thru, and chargers for both my 510 and eGo 1300mah batteries, and after a couple of months of enjoyment, including my first week being completely analog smoke-free in years I had the misfortune of sitting on my rig when I forgot it was in my back pocket, breaking the plastic Kanger T2 tip clean off. Luckily I had found Boge stainless cartomizers and had a backup while waiting for the arrival of the new metal tips (and another Kanger T2) I ordered from Discount Vapers and new 1300mah battery (this time with not only a 510 adapter but a stainless eGo sleeve spacer as well! Thank you SO much Tim!) from Vapers Choice.

Those arrived this morning, so now I have 3 complete rigs, the Kanger/eGo 1300mah battery setups being my main rigs with the 510 as an emergency backup. Here are my beauties:

Both the 1300mah batteries are actually the same size, one is just closer than the other in the photo. They easily last longer than a day, and the vapor they produce with the Kanger T2 and VG is fantastic! Even better considering the Kanger T2, eGo 1300mah battery and charger shipped to my door were only $30!

Hope you enjoyed my first post!

You're welcome. It's a great unit for its price, even regular retail. It has all but one of the abilities of a Provari which is the top of the line. And it has a couple that the Provari doesn't. Provaris are awesome units but over $200, hard to swallow for a new user. You honestly won't get much better than the vivi nova unless you go to full rebuildable genesis style atimizers/hybrids so you're good there for a while unless you really want to tinker. It'll be rocking when you can feed it more power than the little eGo passthroughs can give it.

That is exactly why I started looking for other options, but knowing how I always forget to charge the ego-c as is at home, going with a straight battery option would not work for me. The variable voltage options that I have seen (mostly only looked at a local retailer) are not pass through. The only thing that I dont know about would be the design as I have not used one like that but I figure I could get use to it and if not gift it to a friend who got me to switch to the e-cig.

I know I'm tempting fate, but this is the most I take with me on a given day.

Most of the time, if the tank's full, the battery's charged, and I know when I'm headed back home, it's just the Provari and a tank.

What's the point of a $200 PV and a $50 (or so) tank if you still have to carry all the other junk?

I leave home fully stocked, just in case I get "sidetracked" on my way home. It can be a pain to leave home with juices and batteries, but I wouldn't be caught dead without my gear. They sell stinkies in every convenience store in Mexico but can't get an E cig anywhere but the US.
