It was red at one point I wasn't joking about battle tested I've worn the finish off. I'm manly enough to rock pink and purple though so I'm not worried

Ye I hope the gap will be less with the Boge carto's, which are on the mail. For now Im using a cheap DC prepunched carto, it has a flange for tanks that makes the gap wider.
