i use the smoketec 3.5 tank at work because its cheap and i dont care if it breaks. I had the base plastic piece break on me on my other one now i use it for spare parts fore my work tank. A word of Advice don't buy cartos tanks with plastic bases and caps. Always get metal aluminum or stainless steel its worth the few dollars more.
No pics yet but i have a small garage machine shop and i am woking on a semi mechanical 3.7v 18650 mod that started life as a trustfire cree 8 flashlight all aircraft aluminum with a 510 / ego conector currently turning down the knurling on the handle and turning off the rounded design on the bottom cap. I already milled the flared out head off that housed the led and reflective cone. Pics and thread about it apon completion. It will be high polished aluminum with black pin stripping in the recessed grooves and without the cone flashlight head it will be the sise of a 18650 cree flashlight handle. Nexed I will be working on turning out my own Genesis style tank atomizer. I wanted to make it out of aluminum though to match my mechanical mod.

This is the exact flashlight i am currently modding into a pv. The head is milled off and knurling milled down. The head is cut down to the cut grooves in the top under the housing for the led exposing the aluminum threaded cap thad held the led this has been drilled out and a 510/ego conector pressed in. Now i a
m working on press fitted Delrin plastic piece with a hole drilled to fitt a brass pin to use as the positive conector witch i have to wire to an intermit swich then comes the polishing answer painting and done. Few more days of work when i have the time.

That's a pluid edition ihybrid and yes it's fully mechanical. Only problem is its a limited edition mod and it is no longer sold. It does come with the 18350 and 18650 tube. You can still buy standard ihybrids (when available) but they sell out quick.
