Couldn't stand the scratches on the top tube, and I wondered what was underneath that crappy chrome. Think I'll strip the rest of it! LOL!

Still needs a bit more sanding & then a good polishing, or maybe a satin finish....

320 then 400 then a quick trip to the buffing wheel (jewelers rouge). Still needs work, but I think it'll look a lot better.
The chrome is VERY thin and easily sanded off.
