Chemical bluing wont work on stainless steel.... only option for that is to apply heat.

EDIT: And for god's sake.... don't do it indoors!! A hot piece of steel will melt carpet, and set furniture ablaze!

This sounds like its coming from a guy with melted carpet and burnt furniture lol.

Short question on this, bet there will be alot more to read up about it before i try but will a torch someone uses to oxidize be sufficient (sp?) to blue a mod up? Or need heavyer stuff for that? I loved the blue rings i saw from you somewhere on forum.
